It's well-made, sturdy, easy to use, and just right for 1-2 people. We've used it a lot in the few months we've had it. Some things are much easier to cook with it, for example, tofu cubes. It's not going to cook much bacon though! Cooks veggies great too.

I tried this air fryer out because it was small. Most air fryers I'd seen were too large to fit comfortably on my countertop. This air fryer is still large, in my opinion. However, it's light enough to move around when I'm not using it. I have used it to cook chicken and potatoes and I was pleasantly surprised at the results. For cooking a few items it's perfect. For one person it's great. The clean-up is easy and doesn't take much time. I would recommend this item for a single person or for very small meals. ... show more

    • Perfect for My Dorm Room!
Perfect size for my university dorm room space! Cooks for 1-2 persons give or take. Great for quick meals especially when I don’t want to be in the shared kitchen (I do A LOT of meals especially breakfast in this air fryer) Very easy to use and clean. I love the fact that it’s so sleek and has a timer so it shuts off when the timer has stopped . It can be a bit loud but that doesn’t bother me really. Be careful not to fill it to capacity because the basket is shallow and then the food touches the heating ring and burns and I can’t seem to be able to get rid of the burnt piece completely because the ring is built into the air fryer. So now whenever I use it sometimes it smells as though there’s something burning which I can admit was my fault for over stuffing the basket. Otherwise it heats up very quickly and cooks food evenly. PRO tip: wrap the removable tray in aluminum foil paper and dispose of it if you don’t want to wash the entire basket every single time, it also speeds up cooking time :) It’s definitely worth it, it’s not too heavy so it’s easy to move around and great quality.     • This little guy packs a punch!
I already have a Ninja Foodi Air Fryer and Pressure Cooker, and I wanted a small air fryer to make something quick and leave the Foodi for bigger items and this Instant Vortex delivers! The footprint is small, so I was easily able to find space on my space-deficient kitchen and even if you have to stow it away, it's so small and easy to bring out to use. It heats to 400 degrees and has bake, roast, and pre-heat settings. The rotary dial is all you need to control it (along with some touch sensitive buttons), and it looks very sleek. But how does it air fry? I've so far made fries, pizza rolls, and my own karaage fried chicken and so far it has worked like a charm! All came out crispy as expected. It gets plenty hot and makes it so easy to air fry things with such an easy cleaning chore. All you need to clean is the basket, the removable grill, and then wipe down the area where you place the basket. That's easy! Easy to clean as it's all non-stick surfaces - just wait until it cools down before doing any of this. I totally recommend this for folks that want a small air fryer. It's great for families of 1 or 2 (though you won't be cooking racks of ribs in this) or if you want to supplement your larger air fryer and save that for larger projects. Especially if you have those air fryer and pressure cooker combos. The price is very hard to beat. $45. ... show more

If this is my second review apologize. It's that good a product! Fretting about buying one of these and finally ordered one. Fries, not as good tasting as the deep fat fried ones.. Honestly still good if you use a little butter on them before air-frying. Our pizza bread dough started to bake once by mistake. Let it finish then decided to slice and place in this Air frier with the sauce and toppings. Thought man what a disaster this will be. Nope! Came out stellar to perfection! May even start doing our pizza's like this from now on. Easy clean up and really like the removable tray. Controls super simple and even alerts you to turn food for even cooking. This thing could die tomorrow and we'd buy another one. Seriously. ... show more
