    • Worth the wait and hassle
Great loveseat. Stiff but supports lower back well so am happy. We ordered 2. One had to be sourced from another fulfillment center, then it's like they lost the order or never requested the second one, not sure. They took payment for both when they say they will take payment only once they ship. In the end, after chatting with customer service twice they did a replacement for the one that never came, and it was delivered when they said it would be. We ordered "inside door" delivery. First of all, I know this review is a little late because I had it delivered April 1. BUT with the Ashley name, I didn’t think it would come down to this. Of course Amazon can’t do anything, their policy is 30 day return which I would hope nothing was wrong in 30 days nor do I feel buying an extended warranty on the day you’re purchasing an item, which to me is saying, something could go wrong so I did not buy more protection. This is what this looks like… The one side of the recline is that bad the other side is getting there and I could send more pictures, but I think the one picture is enough . It is also starting to sag on both sides of the couch that recline. This to me is totally unacceptable! And this couch is not even our main couch. It is in a secondary room! This piece of furniture is still offered on the Ashley website, and even on the Amazon website as well, but the price has raised considerably since I bought it and I’m thinking that’s horrible for anybody else thinking to buy this! I know it’s been seven months, but we noticed a little bit of this going on a little bit ago! Again, Amazon will do nothing and that’s a shame because they are selling this product. Amazon suggested that I do the review which I am doing. So with all this being said, and if I don’t get any type of help or suggestions from Ashley. I will write again And keep customers/potential buyers informed. Let me add too , there are only two of us. We are elderly adults and as i said, it is a secondary roomI have a no name couch that is lasted me over 12 years and doesn’t look anywhere near the way this Ashley Tulen does!!! Again, reminder, Amazon has raised the price of this considerably since I ordered it and had it delivered April!!!! There has to be better choices out there than this!! After reading the reviews I was on the fence about this purchase. 1. Being in quarantine during a pandemic and not being able to see and test the couch beforehand had me nervous. 2. The reviews varied from "excellent service great product", to "left outside on my lawn". I have to say, they delivered it quickly before the scheduled time, called in advance and worked with my schedule. They brought up the the pieces out of the box, and assembled in less than 10 minutes. It was literally the bottom of the couch in 1 piece and the back of the couch in 3 pieces that easily clicked in. The delivery guys even tested out the recling function to make sure everything was ok. ALL THIS even during social distancing, to a second floor apartment went above and beyond my expectations honestly. The couch is nice and sturdy, supports alot of weight as my husbands 6ft tall and 300lbs. with us and the kids, it's still going strong. The cats try to scratch at it and the cloth does seen to easily pull, but we got couch protector vinyl for the sides to stave off the cats. It's been about a month and I cant honestly find anything to complain about. And I didnt want this couch, it looked clunky, but the whole family loves it. It almost reclines all the way back into sleeping position and only requires a couple of inches from the wall to do so like 4 or 5 inches. But can easily lay flush against the wall and slightly recline. Color me pleasantly surprised and satisfied with my husbands pick. ... show more

I'm glad I bought this couch for what I need however you get what you pay for. Quality is less than a $500 price point. Comfort is fine on the back rest and cushions. For the arm rest and foot rest, you can feel the wood pieces. Like many other reviews, the back will not stay reclined when you move at all. And it was delivered damaged. (One of the back wood slats was broken.) The delivery guy assured me that it was not broken in route by him however there's really no way to know. The customer service for this was really great though. I called them immediately not wanting to accept a damaged product however they let me know they were currently out of stock and they could either take it back or they would give me $120 refund. I chose to accept the refund hoping I could repair the wood slat myself for much cheaper than buying a new $1,000 couch which I'm not ready for at this time. Overall it's a fine couch that will work for now. ... show more
