1. I absolutely love the Rust-Oleum 331182 Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint in Ultra Matte Black. The coverage is amazing and it dries quickly. The finish is smooth and even, giving a professional look to my DIY projects. The color is a true matte black, which I appreciate. 2. One thing I don't like about this spray paint is the strong odor. It's quite overpowering, so I would recommend using it in a well-ventilated area or wearing a mask while spraying. Other than that, I have no complaints about the performance of this product. 3. I've used many different brands of spray paint before, but Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover is by far my favorite. The nozzle sprays evenly and doesn't clog easily. The coverage is great, and I only needed one coat for full opacity on my project. 4. The only downside to this spray paint is the price. It's a bit more expensive than other brands, but the quality is definitely worth it. I will continue to purchase Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch for all my painting needs. 5. I painted my wrought iron chairs, round table and 2 plant stands in the gloss white (they were black before and had some rust spots) The gloss is just enough and not too shiney, it never clogged up, tho I did also use a spray handle attachment. Two light coats covered everything perfectly and it did dry fast with no drips. This paint is very durable, I’ve used it for years to transform things I already have to make them look brand new & to change colors with my decor. I also used the gloss berry pink on the pink footstool (that was a vinyl fabric), the pink planters, as well as the small pink chair and plant stand in these photos. These colors helped to transform my small screened in porch to a fresh, spring/summer color scheme. I plan on using other colors to paint other accessories for a fall/winter theme so I can switch them out in the seasons. ... show more

I love the coverage and available gloss colors but the items I sprayed are feeling tacky after a few days of drying time. It could be the weather but it's really not that hot or humid. I first sprayed an old beat up pet carrier's exterior to try and clean it up a bit. The spray went on beautifully but stayed tacky for days and today is still a lil' sticky. I then tried the spray on another surface because I was curious. I sprayed a plain unstained/unpainted basket and let it dry. Still feelin' tacky after several days. Again...could be the weather. Maybe I didn't shake the can long enough? Overall I love the color and easy coating but hate the sticky feeling it leaves. Also important to note that a strong chemical smell remains after several days. Hoping by leaving the pet carrier out in the fresh air it will set the paint and get rid of the odor. Even though the paint is only on the exterior I would not subject any animal to the smell coming off from the paint. ... show more

This works great, the color is bright and thick and it is super durable. I sprayed it on some sheet metal to test it and it stayed on there even after I left it out in the rain on accident. It is super durable.

Obviously, I’m not done with this project , but so far so good. For the small table I did use a lot of spray paint due to the build of the nightstand and was able to cover almost all the drawers on the dresser with one can of spray. I’ve used just a little bit of the second spray and will start spraying the rest of the dresser later on today. It dried pretty fast, but I do believe I’ll need another can of spray, but for two cans of spray it did a very good job seeing as that I used this as primer also.
