Update: September 2023: Inokim customer support is phenomenal A+ My thumb throttle started sticking and having difficulty returning to the start position after being pressed. I reached out to the Inokim tech support team and they responded the same day with a link for setting up a video session. The video session with Sebastián was on time, cordial, quick and resolute. I received a replacement thumb throttle a week or so later after that session. Now that's the epitome of warranty support and service 👏👏 Many thanks again to Sébastian and the Inokim staff for providing such a great after purchase support experience. I've attached a picture of my OXO scooter with my friend Vsett 10+ scooter in the background. Update: July 2023 The kick scooter is still holding up fairly well. It still looks sleek an stylish in my opinion. I have not had any flat tire changes or problems yet. The suspension ride quality is still excellent on pave streets, paved trails and sidewalks. I have not taken the scooter off road on any mountain bike trails. I don't plan to either. Recently, I was given the courtesy to ride two different branded electric scooters and I can honestly say that my OXO feels a bit outdated. Don't get me wrong, speed wise and ride quality wise, it's still great, but the steering handling, initial jerky throttle acceleration and lack of a zero kick start option would definitely be a deal breaker now. A zero kick start option is so crucial when moving a heavy scooter like this up inclines ramps to bring in or out of a cellar basement, house or van. The jerky throttle acceleration on take off is so annoying at times that I dislike riding this scooter. I've scour forums and searched Reddit and YouTube for a solution to the throttle issue with no luck. I've ascertained from my limited research that it's a known accepted quirk with the Inokim OXO. The steering handling on the OXO has too much play (damper needed) compared to a couple of other scooters I've been on recently such as the Vsett10+ (with damper) and the Segway GT1 (you can almost steer that scooter with one hand. Yes, it's that stable). At this date and time, I don't feel that my beloved Inokim OXO at it's current price of $1999 represents a great value anymore when compared to what's currently available from other brands today. Nevertheless, Inokim seems to have a responsive tech support staff that was very prompt and helpful with resolving my initial issues I had upon the receipt of the new scooter. With that said, I will attempt to reach out to the support staff about my jerky throttle issues. There may be a fix or part replacement for this issue. I will update again. Original Review: Things I didn't like upon arrival: - packaging was in pretty bad shape when it delivered. - heavier than I expected - a damaged locking thumb screw on the steering stem. - missing (1) small wheel center hub cap - front and rear brakes squealiing when stopping and also rubbing - had to put new brake pads on the scooter to alleviate squealiing noise. - torquey throttle (jerky) even on gear 1 and with front wheel motor in limited power mode. - rear taillight is positioned too far to the right side and not centered. - No top mounted adjustable headlight. Must add additional headlight for better road visibility when riding at night. - the scooter frame design makes the kick scooter difficult to protect and secure with D-Locks and bike chains. - no built in security like nfc lockout, key or gps app tracking. Now the things I really like : - current price $1999 (much cheaper than the original price) - Tech support. After reaching out to Inokim customer support via Amazon for help with the brakes issue, missing wheel cap and the steering stem thumb screw. They sent out replacements for the thumb screw and wheel cap through the mail. - little to no assembly required. (Rear fender needs be attached or not) - scooter is fast and rides really nice. - scooter appears easy to work on should I have to do any tire changes. Brake replacements was easy to do. - came with all necessary tools to work on the scooter - Built in latching hook that allows for picking up and carrying the scooter. - Lights turn on automatically when it gets dark (sensitivity can be adjusted) - cruise control (use with caution) kicks in automatically after holding throttle speed for 8-10 seconds. This feature is off by default. - build quality and clean sleek design that looks really good! Suggestions: - Better quality control checks on all shipments prior to shipping out to customers. - Offer loyalty rewards / exclusive discounts for inokim scooter owners or trade in upgrade towards future models. - ability to adjust throttle acceleration smoothly or aggressively as needed. - Add some waterproofing ip rating to future kick scooters. - Add security features such as a reinforced frame that's designed to allow for use of D-Locks and chains. - Build-in or add-on adjustable steering damper stabilizer to reduce high speed wobble if applicable. - Add turn signals controls and a brighter headlight and improved taillight design for US riders. - Add a much needed and robust larger lcd/oled display panel. Summary / final thoughts This is my very first kick scooter, so please take this in account when reading my review. I have owned this scooter for one month only I will update this review throughout my first year. At this time I would recommend the INOKIM OXO Scooter because it's so fast, rides really nice and the responsive tech support from Inokim. ... show more

I have owned an Inokim Quick 4 for nearly 2 years now and absolutely love it. Over this time as a scooter owner I have learned a lot, including the benefits of having two motors, which really helps propel you up steep grades. The Quick 4 has a single 600 watt motor, which is not bad, but it really struggles going up hills. So, after two years I decided to upgrade to the Inokim OXO, which has two 1000watt motors, a huge step up from the Quick 4 model. The build quality, flexibility, compactablity and speed of the Quick 4 is fantastic, but when I first road the OXO, it was quickly evident what a much better scooter it is. The ride quality of the OXO is like riding a Cadillac or other luxury car...it's so smooth and has endless power. It feels more sturdy and safe. The steep hill near my house my Quick 4 slows down to just 6mph and just gets up it. The OXO can make it up the hill at 30mph+. The difference is night and day. While I have not done it yet, there is a way to adjust the suspension of the OXO to provide more play, allowing you to take it on some rugged roads. The speed and miles I could ride on my Quick 4 are absolutely sufficient, and would take about 8 hours to charge. The OXO has a blistering top speed of 40mph and an advertised range of 68 miles, however I have not had a chance to test this yet, real world is likely 40-45 miles, which is absolutely plenty. When I purchased the OXO I read a lot of reviews and most had just a single complaint, that was the deck is made of plastic and is not grippy. I concur, this is not desirably, but can easily be modified, so I'm not concerned. Other than that, the OXO is absolutely a fantastic scooter, although a bit on the pricey side, but you know what they say, "Ya get what you pay for." I think Inokim is carving out a market segment of having some of the best quality scooters in the world. Owning one for nearly 2 years now with zero problems, and countless hours of joy, I can certainly recommend them. Let me know if you have any questions, happy to help. ... show more

This is my first ever electric scooter. I did some research before I bought Inokim OXO. I wanted a scooter just for fun ride around my neighborhood and this particular one did that job just fine. The wind on your face while riding feels great. I was amazed with the power generated by the dual motors. It will blow your mind and instantly puts a smile on your face at high speeds. I immediately had a urge for some off roading with this beast and I took it to a fun mountain bike trail. That was the most adventurous day of my life. Inokim OXO has some real juice and power. I could do a city and off roading run of over 20 miles with about 70% battery still left. The installation was super easy. I lifted my suspension for trails and it works like butter. This process only took 15 minutes. It will still keep you super balanced even on higher suspension settings. For the first time electric scooters owner, I am not a rookie anymore. I wish there was a key or passcode to access the scooter. You can also achieve it by reducing the speed setting to minimum speed which makes scooter inoperable. This will help if you have kids. Highly recommend this scooter for both seasoned and first timers. It is expensive but worth every penny. It is definitely going to put a smile on your face just like it put on mine. Not sure if I was sent an open box scooter or refurbished, but I paid full price for it. As the pics show above, it's got a ton of flaws for a new scooter. Scraped light, scratches in different places, missing paint, torn/exposed cable, came very dirty/dusty, and in a torn up box (which by the way is not the box shown on the listing pics). As for the ride, it rides great, it's super fast and the suspension is great. I did have to adjust the kickstand as it was too short and the scooter wouldn't stand up.
