Used this to dye my bangs and face framing pieces. After leaving it in for around 1.5 hours it gave me the perfect, vibrant, cool toned green that I was looking for! I only dyed it 6 days ago so idk how long it lasts, but since I only dyed my bangs I have plenty left to refresh the hair color when it fades! I also noticed that I was pretty much able to get it off my skin with rubbing alcohol when I accidentally stained it! It also left my hair feeling extremely soft and shiny since this is one of those conditioning hair dyes, I always love using those. I really like this product and have bought it several times in different colors. The color holds well if you’re looking for something temporary. If you’re looking to keep it longer, you’ll need to reapply after about 2 weeks. It does bleed during washes, but it takes a few weeks for the color to completely fade depending on how often you wash your hair. It also conditions your hair, so it doesn’t leave your hair dry like other colors or dyes. If you like to color your hair frequently, but don’t like a certain color long-term, I would definitely recommend this ... show more

I got this to match my hair to Christmas outfits. I bleached the hair and added the color, like I always do. After the 1st wash it turned pink. I love this brand but this color just didn’t deliver. Pretty much every other color has been great. Just a heads up on the color difference.

Update: After seeing this review, the company reached out to me and offered a full refund which I truly appreciate. 5 star customer service and customer response. I have been dying my hair with semi-permanent vivids for a long time. Close to 16 years. I've used lots of brands and sometimes I like to change it up. This one looked like it was a great purple so I wanted to give it a shot. I used gloves and did all the things you're supposed to do before coloring your hair at home. Like I said I've been doing this for a while. I have never experienced one bleed this much ever. The staining on my shower is more than I've ever seen. The picture was after cleaning it twice. The picture of my purple hand is from me putting my hair in a ponytail today. Just touching my hair, that is dry, transfers color. I went to bed with dry hair last night and woke up with my neck completely purple. Thank God I have black sheets! I'm having to be careful to not get my hair on anything like my sofa or on my t-shirt. In my 16 years of doing my hair I have never experienced something this bad. It's so bad that it actually thinking about using a clarifying shampoo tonight just to try and get the bleeding to stop! I'm super bummed because the purple is amazing. It's a great color. But man, I am completely regretting using this and I am not sure what I'm going to do to keep myself from looking purple for at least a week. To top it off anywhere at rinsed on my body last night with stained purple and I had to scrub pretty hard to get it off. And then I started getting an allergic reaction to anywhere that it touched.     • Worked for light ash brown hair!

This worked so well! I have naturally light ash brown hair (exactly the color on the box if you go look in the hair dye aisle if you want a reference) with a decent amount of grey and some sun bleaching. I left it on for about two hours and it worked beautifully! It looks just like the product photos depending on the lighting. Sometimes I feel it looks more turquoise/teal (I’m not great with color names) and in lower lighting my non-greys look quite dark, but overall it’s definitely green and I’m super happy with it. It covered the greys 100% and gave me a nice two toned look. My former greys look bright and sparkly almost like tinsel and my sun bleached anreas are nice and bright. I honestly couldn’t be happier, I’m hooked! I don’t want to dye it back when I go back to work. Smells fine, my husband liked it, and it left my hair feeling fairly normal, maybe a little heavier the first day like if I used extra conditioner. Couple of “cons” that really just come with the territory, my scalp and nails and shower all stained, but after washing it the next day (it says don’t use shampoo when rinsing after application) with a scalp scrubber, my scalp was back to normal. I’m sure my shower stains will fade, but I wouldn’t recommend using an unsuspecting friend’s shower or a bathroom with expensive or white tile just in case. ***Update 3.5 weeks later. My greys and sun lightened streaks are still fairly green. The other areas are still darker than they were before, but not so green looking anymore. I still wouldn’t get away with it at work. I would say 3-5 weeks application isn’t too bad for the price. The first two weeks were really fun. But that overly conditioned feeling persisted making it hard to get my natural wave to cooperate. My hair is fine and doesn’t like too much moisturizing tho so ymmv. I am going to try it again after lightening my hair with a bleach kit to see if that balances out the moisture problem and if the color will last longer. ... show more
