This is a great indoor grill - it's compact enough to not present any storage issues and is big enough for a family of four if you grill items strategically. The fan really works and is better than expected, and there is minimal smoke. I think it's impossible to have zero smoke but we have been using this indoor grill regularly and it's a wonderful product at a reasonable price point. The clean-up is SO easy - love how the components come apart and anything in contact with food goes in the dishwasher. I don't like electric appliances that have cooking surfaces that can't be ully dismantled. It heats up quickly and sears nicely with grill marks and all that good stuff. When it's fully loaded with items, it does lose a little heat but it's fine - just takes a little longer. We think it's great for bringing the family together and pacing the meal in an interactive way that promotes conversation sat dinner too. Nothing bad to say, and I don't write many reviews, but I know I was searching for more details when doing my own research on indoor grills so I hope this is a helpful review. I have used it a few times but I think it is pretty good. It is easy to clean. Although it says there is no smoke, it still has some smoke. It depends on what kind of food you cook. In summary, it is a pretty good product, but I think the price is a bit expensive.

We moved to an area without a Korean BBQ near by, but lots of butchers. We bought this grill to just make it at home. The grill works well, good fast heating and even caramelized the meats crust. I think it's because the flow of air keeps the meat dry and allows for a crispier crust. Plus it's nice to just keep the smoke away as well. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. ETA: If I could make this 0 stars, I would. I returned the first grill and received a second one. The first use, it worked fine. The second use, it worked fine for about 25 minutes, and then it started playing some kind of failure sound, and the screen flashed on and off. It started up again, worked for a few more minutes, and then did the same thing. This was a terrible purchase; I'm throwing the second one out. ETA: Dropping 3 stars to 1 star because two sessions later, it’s stopped working. It will heat for about three minutes and then shut itself off. Completely and thoroughly disappointed in this product. This is supposedly smokeless, and the first time I used it, it was. The second time, I grilled Wagyu beef burgers, and they dripped a lot of fat. I had the catch tray filled with water and the fans on. I cleaned it thoroughly. Ever since then, when I start it up, it smokes so much while heating that my kitchen smoke detector goes off. I grilled salmon on it, and now the smoke smells like old burger grease and salmon, so that’s no treat. I’ve taken it as apart as it goes without removing screws and going where I’m not supposed to go, but the “smokeless” part of this grill is a joke. The fan is on and I hear it running, but I don’t know what the heck it’s doing. Not that it matters, but American audiences be aware that the temperature settings are chunked to five or six stops (not freeform), and the Fahrenheit values are very odd numbers that correspond to standard temperatures in centigrade. You’ll have to go significantly over or under on your recipes. On the plus side, it gets nicely hot (though there are cold spots toward the plug end). You’ll get grill marks and char. And smoke, unfortunately. ... show more

Update: Had to take off two stars. Before the return period ended, the fan stopped. Sometimes it would come on, sometimes it wouldn't. There was no rhyme or reason. To Amazon's credit, got a replacement, and I will update. I think it may be a situation of it's not bad for the money, but you have to be aware of what you are getting for the money spent. I still recommend trying it if this is your price range, but I will update if it fails again. Original review: I was surprised that this grill is the quality it is for the price. Whenever you buy a brand you might not know, it is a risk, however so far I love this grill. The finish looks nice in my kitchen, the controls are easy to use, and it really is "smokeless"! (We know that the smoke doesn't disappear, but this does help it dissipate). This grill looks like it costs much more than it does. The paint is done well, and the glass lid adds a nice touch. The controls are very easy to figure out, as you just tap the temperature controls until it reaches the heat you want. It also heats up within about five minutes or so, and I like that. Another nice feature is that even if you turn the heat off, you can keep the fan on to keep clearing leftover smoke. Finally, I can say in my first tests at least, there really is very little smoke. There is a fan button, and when you turn it on in combination with the glass lid, it sucks the smoke down. Of course, it can't make the smoke disappear, but it does dissipate it underneath so that the kitchen doesn't get filled up with smoke. A couple of other things I noticed: The non-stick grill is nice and big enough to handle quite a bit of food. It is also recessed an inch or so, making it possible to have bigger items on the grill with the lid placed on top. Underneath, there is an angled drip pan that literally has a "drain," in the middle, and this allows drippings to go right into a plastic pan below. This is actually a great feature, because in the past I have had grills with drip pans, but the whole pan just becomes a mess. Also, the fan is not just a small round fan, but runs the length of the grill underneath to really take smoke out from all parts of the grill. The only negative critique I would give is that the cord is a little too short, and although in the pictures the finish makes this look metal, the outer casing and some other parts are actually plastic. One piece of advice- I have had similar grills before that were not this nice. Once I started cleaning the non-stick surface, over time the coating rubbed off, and this caused food to stick. When food sticks, you get a lot more smoke. So, don't use something too abrasive to clean the non-stick surface. The bottom line is that I highly recommend this grill. I will update this review after I have used it for a few months, so I can see how durable it is over time. For now though, if you are looking for a great indoor grill, I recommend this one! ... show more
