I bought these two accent around my daughter's computer desk and underneath her loft bed. Being a rope light there already diffused unlike normal LED light strips which are harsh on your eyes. This light is absolutely amazing! I love how bright it is and how easy it is to install as well! This rope light really is 10 feet long as well and works incredibly! The remote is super easy and convenient to use, but the best and most of this product is being able to use the app with the light! You can customize the color on a color wheel, even down to the color number as well! You can use your mic on your device that had the app to control the lights as well based off the sounds it hears through the mic! You can also play music with your device that had the app and the lights will match along with the beat of the song as well! It was so easy to install! Just unravel the light string, and find where/how you want to hang it, put the screw into the grab bit/holder, drill it down and in, and put the light in the holder! That's all! Used them for a week without any lighting issues. Very hard to attach them to where I needed them to be. Ended up purchasing other ways to mount them. Tried to edit colors to go with the look of my set up but upon editing, half of the rope decided it no longer wanted to function. I troubleshooted by using the app, editing pixels as suggested by the company and had no luck. Tried the old “turn it back off and back on”, unplugging, etc and nothing. I can not get the other side to work. I suppose the saying “you get what you pay for” is true in this case. I’ll be purchasing something else and most likely throwing these out. ... show more
