My child received this hoverboard as a gift for christmas 2019. Came quickly and on time. The hoverboard worked great and was a ton of fun for 3 weeks. My son went to ride the hoverboard but after pressing the power button, as he did in the past, the hoverboard would not balance and would just fall forward with continuous beeping. We tried troubleshooting the hoverboard and were successful, worked like new. The next day we had the same problem after powering on. We attempted to troubleshoot it again but have been unsuccessful. I submitted a ticket/claim through Hover-1.com on 1/17/20 but did not hear back from them. I added a note to my 1/17/20 ticket on 1/22/20 but as of today 1/28/20 I still have yet to hear back. Tried locating a phone number online but have been unable to find anything but an email. I submitted a new ticket today, we will see what comes of that. Now I am stuck with a broken hoverboard that my child rode less than a month and NO help from the company that made it and warranties it for 3 months after purchase, and a sad child based on the fact that was his only gift due to the price. Would not reccommend this brand of hoverboard due to lack of customer service. ... show more

The hoverboard itself is good quality- my son has been running into all the walls in my house with it for the last month. We had a snafu with the charger, though. The first hoverboard was sent without one. It says all over the box to contact hover-1 directly with any problems so I did. I received an email back informing me that any further response would take a while, and not to email repeatedly because it would "close the service ticket" if there were multiple emails sent. After waiting a month for a response, we contacted Amazon directly. A new hoverboard was sent right away which did have a charger. Strong work, Amazon. Bottom line- it's a nice product but if you have an issue, the Hover-1 support isn't great. Also, FYI, apparently the colors can vary, the first one was blue/pink/purple and the second one was green and blue. ... show more

Awesome hoover board. I was totally against my 9 yr. old daughter spending her money to by one, but she saved and did her research and this hoover board has provided dozens of hours of fun and still is going strong. Only 160lb weight limit, so parents dont risk it if your close to the max.

This product is very well made. My daughter loves her it. It came with some charge in it so it didn't take that long to charge. She then road it until 8 the next day. I then charged it for 6 hours and she has rode for 2 days and then this will be the 3rd day. She has rode it for about 1 hour and 1/2 both days after school. They battery holds a good charge. Our kids got these boards for Christmas and so far, so good. They love them and we've had zero issues...well, aside from the kids running into my baseboards repeatedly. One kid is 8 years old and the other is 11. Neither are super coordinated, yet no one has been hurt so far.

Never responded to my service request but instead sent parts after a month of me messaging.
