Color Name:Antique Brass Honeywell electronic digital entry levers feature traditional key access as well as the ability to unlock with a Programmable 4 to 8 digit user code (keyless entry). These Honeywell locks allow the owner to program up to 50 different user codes and delete them as desired. The Honeywell polished brass electronic digital deadbolt allows you to set an automatic lock function that will return the deadbolt to the locked position at a programmed amount of time after the lock is opened. There is also a vacation mode that puts the system into a low power consumption state and disables all buttons and functions until the programmer chooses to reactivate the lock. The lock features bump protection, an installation hardware kit and 2 keys, a single cylinder deadbolt, and is easy to install with PHILLIPS head screwdriver. The battery requires 4 ‘aa’ alkaline batteries (not included). This lock is absolute junk. I purchased both a Honeywell electronic deadbolt as well as this lever lock for a project. The deadbolt seems to be fine but this lever lock is garbage. I attempted to follow every instruction exactly during installation. When locked, the door unlocks itself with two turns of the outside handle. Additionally the door unlocks fine with a code but when I push the lock button it locks, then unlocks and give me 5 beeps (a code which, of course, isn't in the manual). I purchased this because it's about the only electronic lever lock with a Kwikset keyway that is master keyable (i.e. not a SmartKey). However it is a complete waste of money. ... show more

This design must be installed upside down in order to accomodate a DEADBOLT. Seriously, the piece to be installed on the interior of the door is too tall for a deadbolt?! I've never seen my engineer husband SO MAD as when he unsuccessfully worked...and worked at installing this thing. A waste of time and money. ... show more

This was purchased for interior use. We have a room that we have random things in, and we stash gifts here around the holidays. We also keep a firearm here. It has a lock and the ammo is locked up elsewhere. Our son figured out how to pop the basic knob and he started snooping around. Sure enough, he found the rifle. He's almost ten and we've taught him about firearm safety (my husband works in criminal justice), but he's still curious. We also have a 4 year old that copies everything he sees big brother do but without the benefit of really understanding what to do if he comes across a firearm without an adult present. Clearly, we wanted and needed a way to better secure the room but also keep it easily accessible. Fooling around with a key on an interior room was annoying. There are enough keys to keep up with a it is. This cost a bit more than I had wanted to spend but we've had good luck with Honeywell, plus this wasn't a place we felt like being cheap. It took me about thirty minutes to install, from opening the box to setting the codes. We set up an easily remembered code for the three adults in the house and stashed the spare keys in places the kids can't find or access. The instructions to install the lock itself were okay. I had to stare at it to figure out what screw it was talking about to remove the battery compartment, and the wire harness was difficult to see which way to insert. The two main screws were super easy to install because the pays go all the way through the latch set. I only needed a Phillips screwdriver for the installation and AA batteries. When it came to the instructions to set the codes though, the instructions were terrible. I finally hit up the internet. The master code was not difficult to understand but the user codes are a different story. Three is one thing though... I'm not certain this is actually an authentic Honeywell product. It's mice enough but it didn't seem quite right. I compared the product and the instructions to other Honeywell products we have and they are not the same. The latch set feels really cheap and there's silver painted plastic in a couple spots that make me wonder. The wording in the instructions has a few phrases that are awkwardly translated, and it's like there is a page missing in the code setting section. If this were being used on an exterior door I would be returning it because nothing about this is weather tight. With the plastic in it, especially in the latch set, this also would not be adequately secure. It would take maybe two kicks from an average adult to get passed this lock. Luckily, my kids don't know that, and this works great for us. But just a word of caution for others that may be expecting different results. ... show more

I was very frustrated when I went to install this product. Some Engineer at Honeywell should be fired!! Most ALL exterior doors are drilled with two holes, one for the deadbolt and the other for the handle. Honeywell made the top of this product so tall that it will NOT even fit below a normal deadbolt! Again, THIS PRODUCT CANNOT BE USED ON A DOOR THAT ALSO HAS A DEADBOLT; now how stupid is that. I chose this brand because I expected more from Honeywell than I would quickset....shame, shame...they have also known that this is an issue and still continue to make them. ... show more

I really like this lock design and function. Works very well so far. The motor noise is a bit loud but works fine. The beeping sound is very loud! I had to turn it off & all is fine. I just wish they had a lower level of adjustment on the beeps. Other than that, it's an awesome deal. Update: 6-months in. Still works well. Very solid so far. Not sure what will happen or how long before it goes out like the negative reviews reported. ... show more

The product stopped working 32 days after purchase. The top row of buttons stopped working. I can no longer lock or unlock the door with the key pad. The product stopped working right after the amazon return window closed.
