    • Worked well but no instructions??
This product worked great and the bits provided were strong enough for our wood door that has a thin metal sheet on either side. It got the job done, but it’s certainly not foolproof. They give almost no useful instructions on how to use this product. We couldn’t figure out how to change the backset until much too late so now the preexisting doorknob and our new deadbolt don’t exactly line up. That might be on us, but it would be nice if the company made it a little more user friendly or gave some more instruction!! The biggest issue we had though was removing one drill bit to replace with the other. That part added an extra hour or so to our work and was extremely frustrating and difficult and my husband’s arm got pretty cut up in the process. I’m not sure how the company could solve this problem but it almost made us give up on the whole project and call in a professional. Thankfully, we only needed to do this once for one single door. All in all, it got the job done for a good price but caused injury and extended frustration. If you use this I recommend finding many many YouTube videos to use as your instructions since you don’t get much with the box. ... show more

    • Dewalt door lock installation
Overall it is a good tool to drill hole for the door knob, however, the side hole is not able to position to the middle of the side of the door. I have to adjust it in order to drill the whole right in the middle of the door side.
