These are great! Our house has older loose plugs. We were contemplating replacing the outlet to fix the issue because we couldn't use them without propping up whatever we were plugging in. This is way cheaper than that. It's a crazy simple concept but an elegant solution. We got the glow in the dark ones. Can't speak to how well they'll glow in a year or two, but strong glow now. These make the plug snug WITHOUT falling out of the outlet when you unplug your item. Which means you can have these installed even if you don't need the outlet right away AND you're not losing them all the time. Like I acknowledged in my earlier review, I know for a fact this works for some people, and it’s an amazing idea, just didn’t work for me, unfortunately. Updated my review to 4 stars for the amazing customer service. You can purchase with no worries. I wanted this to work. We’re renting an old house with loose outlets. My friend used these and recommended them to me. But no matter how many different outlets and plugs I try these with, it won’t work. For years I have struggled with using a couple of outlets in my home, especially one outlet in particular. It’s in my foyer and unfortunately the one that I have to use to vacuum that area. As soon as I placed any tension on the cord it would immediately fall out of the outlet. I tried squeezing the prongs on the cord together but it didn’t work. When I saw these I purchased them right away. I’m so happy I found this! It’s such a simple solution to an annoying problem. I can’t believe I never came across anything like this sooner. These do work as designed but if you forget they are there and unplug something, you’re probably going to lose it. I started with 10 and am down to three - and no longer have kids at home. Even if these were 50¢ a piece instead of a dollar, I bet there would still be a hefty profit.
