I’ve been looking for a handle lock like this, and I have a lot of Eufy products that I think work very well. I was looking to replace the Schlage combination handles I’ve had for so long that worked so well, but all of my kids friends know the codes to get into my house. Not that they would use them, but if they shared them, I didn’t feel comfortable and it wasn’t easy to change codes every time that I felt compromised. I was looking for a new handle combination that included fingerprint recognition, and quick code changing options along with temporary codes that would work only once or within a certain time frame and this lock clicked all of the boxes. I have an older home and a dead lock wouldn’t work because the door jams are warped and didn’t always line up correctly for unobstructed engagement unless the door was shut with the same force every time. Anyways, my first concern was with the lack of instructions for door assembly, it took a while for me to look at everything that was delivered for installation and figure out what was needed and what was extra. It’s not hard to install, but they sent extra screws and in my past if you have extra, you missed something. After installation, the app recognized the lock and began showing me the installation process, which I had already completed. You can choose a long code or a short code to unlock the door, 1 digit up to I think 10. Programming the fingerprint is a lot like the old fingerprint programming for iPhones, about 8 different scans, at different angles. New users are easy to set up, and code changes are easy. I’ve used this lock for about a week, fingerprint recognition was a little weak in the beginning but the last three days has been perfect. It learned. It also shows a log of who came in, if they used their code or by fingerprint. My only complaint is there isn’t a way to unlock it for an extended period of time, like if you have guests over for parties or something like that where guests wouldn’t be normally granted access to your home. You can delay the lock, but you can’t unlock it until relock it manually. Eufy, please add this option in future software releases as an option to unlock it, even if it’s for a specific time period. Otherwise, for people in my immediate family, we really like the finger print access this grants, it’s quicker than a code. One note, keep your fingers dry, it doesn’t like wet fingers. ... show more

I waited 4 months to review it to see how it worked and battery life. The install was very easy and took about 15 minutes. The app setup, setting your fingerprint was and pass code was so easy. After four months it still works perfectly, reads my fingerprints, have it setup for 3 users fingerprints or passcodes. The battery life seems to be great and still doesn't need to be changed.     • Latch became frozen while closed after 3 weeks

Pretty easy to install. Was fully functional for 3 weeks. App worked well and it was easy to unlock using the app, code, finger print or key. After 3 weeks of working great the latch got jammed. Couldn’t open from inside or outside. Tried unlocking using all methods but nothing worked. Eventually had to uninstall and had to use a crow bar to pry the door open and unfreeze the latch. Once the door was open the latch was able to function well again but not taking a chance re-installing only for the same issue to occur again. Despite initially working really well this product only gets one star from me. After doing some research there are apparently other eufy door handles and deadbolts where this occurs (possibly due to a faulty mechanism in the latch?) ... show more

The Eufy Smart Lock C330 has been a solid upgrade for our home. It offers flexible and secure entry options, including fingerprint, keyless entry, and a traditional key. The fingerprint sensor is impressively fast and accurate, usually unlocking on the first try, which is great for busy moments. We also appreciate the keyless entry, which means family members can enter without needing a key. Compared to the Eufy Smart Lock C30, the installation of the C330 took a bit longer, likely due to some added components and adjustments. Having a drill on hand made the process easier, and the installation guide was clear and easy to follow. This lock could not be more convenient. The fingerprint reader works well and is positioned perfectly so you naturally place your thumb on the reader. It has a great feature where you can have it stay open for a given amount of time after unlocked, even when opening from the inside. I use this in my garage as an extra level of security for when my garage door is open. I have it set for 10 minutes and that’s perfect for 95% of my use cases when I go in and out to get things. Great product. My only request would be to update the app to give different notification options for different users. I don’t need to be notified when I use it but I’d like to know when my nonresident users are accessing my door. ... show more
