    • Great value, excellent customer service
I am very happy with this lock. The biometric feature lets me add family members that don't live with me, as well as being able to unlock the door through the app on my phone in addition to generating a one-time passcode if needed. I had someone help with the initial installation as boring holes through an existing doorframe just wasn't part of my skillset. I had the lock for a year and a few months before it started having issues; it gave a notification that the batteries were low, so I replaced them, and within 2 days they were low again. I used the same batteries on another device that worked fine, but in any case, I bought more expensive batteries and got the same result. I contacted Sifely customer service and they were terrific. I wasn't sure if my unit was even still under warranty and they never made a hassle about it--asked me for some additional info, then my order number from Amazon, and I received a new lock for free the next day. Installing it was a breeze and the company followed up with me to make sure everything was working ok. You really can't ask for better customer service. As to the lock itself, my only complaint is that the biometric sensor doesn't work well when there's moisture in the air (my door is recessed and covered by a screen door, so it's not getting soaking wet). Nevertheless, the keypad works in wet weather and that's all I need. Highly recommend for the price and convenience. ... show more

This lock has 4 different ways of unlocking - code, fob (card), fingerprint, and key! It is easy to install with detailed steps and a video. All required parts are included including templates to drill holes if needed. Bluetooth pairing and programming are also super easy. You can easily create permanent codes for family members or temporary codes for guests that expire automatically, register your fingerprints or the key fobs. Customer service is excellent! Started with chatting where they identified the problem and shipped out a replacement unit the very next day and followed up with an email. I wish it had a way of engaging the lock from the inside.     • Decent lock with many options
Lock installed very easy with great instructions. Bluetooth connected quickly, easy to program codes right through the APP, FOB's super easy to pair to lock and fingerprint learning went smooth. Upon opening the door, all functioned worked well except fingerprint - it seemed a little finicky, but maybe just a learning curve of how to place finger?? The one negative I can say is the manual lock. This was installed for an older person and we were afraid they'd get confused with the door locking every time on it's own, sow we disabled this feature. Bad thing with this is manual lock requires you to open the door, press and hold the # key, wait for it to announce "locked" and then close the door. Was really hoping there was an easy way to just lock the door from inside. Other than that preference issue, it seems to be a good lock for the money. ... show more

I've been shopping around for smart locks for a while, and this one by far came across as the most promising one. The installation is very easy, and the quality of the product is very good, and I like the design very well. Their support team is very responsive, I had some issues with the battery level since the lock can't seem to read and store the new battery power level, but after some back n forth with their support team, they resolved it by giving me very clear instructions to reset the battery reading. Overall I'm happy with this lock. The only thing I'd ask is if you want to connect the lock through your home wifi you need to buy a hub(gateway), otherwise it would only work through Bluetooth. ... show more

I would suggest a better door handle than this one because it's not durable and overtime it stops working efficiently! At first, it was working great then after awhile the whole system statted having issues and now its just frustrating all together. The fingerprint and code entry would have issues. When I would try to enter the passcode, it wouldn't work. It would take me 3 times for it to finally accept my fingerprint. Someimes it wouldn't accept my fingerprint at all. Then the system would go into lock down mode for 10 minutes and you can't do anything but wait. So I would have to stand outside my door and wait until the lockdown stopped. I would try to enter the code and the panel wouldn't even work. After using the door handle to open the door, the case would slowly start to separate from the door. We would have to constantly tighten it. The only thing that worked 100% of the time was the fob. You just place it near the panel and it opened the door 100% of the time. ... show more
