I would have to say this is the best pitching machine I am very impressed at the quality of the Duce 75 we have put five 600 balls through it and it is dead on accurate with real baseballs. Totally impressed. Very happy with the purchase also is a very heavy and sturdy machine.

    • Great unit team love this machine , just have a few flaws
I received the machine today set it up was easy and all was great. A few minor flaws with the 3 screws for the legs don’t go all the way in to lock in the legs . But over all great product . The only issues that I had is the wheel seem to be dry rotted , signs of a few lines was in the tires and when I air it up to the correct psi, the lines faded away. But after running about 15-25 balls at 5 speed , the tires stated to flake and shred on the inside which built up and was causing the ball to eventually drop but not feed to the wheel to shoot out. is it possible I can get a replacement set of wheels? Or do I need to return the item and order a new unit ? ( note I use the recommended yellow dot balls ) ... show more

    • Easy to Assemble, not very accurate
Returned. they recommend using their yellow seamless balls with the machine. like most we wanted to hit real baseballs, not rubber/plastic. The faster you put up the speed the more erratic this becomes. pitches can be 2' outside the strike zone in any direction. pitch 1 dirt ball, pitch 2 way outside, pitch 3 chin music... totally random pitch to pitch. and I was hand feeding so the seams were near the same every time. not sure it throws 75, because at full speed it was so unpredictable - almost hitting kids - it went back in the box. may work for you if you just want something for soft toss, as our trys for that were ok. also the gray tires left skid marks on the baseballs, so be aware of that also. good luck. ... show more

This was a very well worth the money purchase. My grandson has tremendously improved his batting skills and I didn’t have to go see an Orthopedic Surgeon because of throwing my shoulder out. Invest in your Little League R!!

    • Pitches Accurately
Difficult to move. Incorporating 8” or larger wheels on two front legs would have been awesome. Possibly improving on the vertical adjustment would be helpful as well. Machine is heavy(rightfully so) and hard to control when adjusting vertical adjustment. Adjusting pitch speed is easy. Adjustments vary from slow to faster than my grandson presently capable of dealing with. I would have happily paid more had wheels been available. Maybe an arm attached to back of machine to hold when doing adjustment would solve that issue. Simply my thoughts. ... show more

    • My son loves the machine, THE PACKAGING AND ASSEMBLY WAS HORRIBLE
We received the pitching machine and opened the very destroyed box. I didn't think too much of it because I thought it may have gone through a rough delivery process. I WISH we would've taken pictures! It was REALLY messed up. As I continued to pull the contents out of the box, I realized that several of the small bags that contain the small yet necessary pieces were torn open and all over the bottom of the busted down box. We were missing over 10 small pieces necessary to put the machine together. I looked back at my order on Amazon to check to see if the 800.00 pitching machine I bought was pre-owned/used, which I knew it was not, but I was so confused! How could they ship their product like this??? But the worst part of the assembly was the large component. It was completely dented and we had to use a mallet in order to use the machine. The dent prevented the ability to complete the assembly but more importantly, until we used a rubber mallet to fix it, it was not adjustable. Because of the issues with the packaging and assembly, I would give this machine a 1 star, if that, which I have never done...and I order from Amazon A LOT. However, the machine itself, after 2 trips to Lowe's and way too long to put together, is pretty great. My 13 year old son loves it. We bought the recommended balls and the Heather Batting Cage (that was an pain to put together, but the pieces were all there at least) and he really does enjoy the entire system. His hitting has already improved. He was struggling to hit really fast balls (for 12/13 year olds) and recently has been facing pitchers throwing 65, 70. We purchased this unit over the less expensive model for the speed. For the cost, I was REALLY disappointed that they threw a returned unit back in the box, all jacked up, missing pieces and charged me 800.00. Not okay at all. ... show more

    • Machine is OK but company is difficult
This pitching machine has been good. Used it for about 9 months without much issue. Dialed all the way up, it seems to produce a decent fast ball up to high school speeds, though our cage is 40' long. The issue comes when there is an issue. The machine started to wobble very badly so i immediately checked the tire pressures again. One tire was totally out of pressure. Aired it back up, verified everything else was tight, reassembled the covers and back in business.... for a week. That wobble I guess did something to the bottom motor and it suddenly locked up and started throwing sparks. So time to start calling heater sports to look at getting a replacement part. Called the 800 number on the instructions and they had me leave a message for them to call me back to get it situated.. So far haven't heard from anyone at all. Went to their website and everything says to call the sales line. Tried emailing and calling multiple times, same story. Again, If I can get a replacement motor everything will work well. If something goes wrong with this machine, doesn't appear the company is very eager to help make it right. ... show more
