I needed a fan for our living room that did not take up a lot of real esate on the floor. I really like the fact that tower fans do not take up a lot of room, but historically they do not really have a good air flow, which I need. When we got this fan and unboxed it, I was pleasently surprised at just how much air this fan puts out. Unboxing and assembly was pretty easy and the electrical cord is about the length that you would expect on a fan. The fan has a remote control, and even has a place on the very top to store the remote when not in use so that it doesn't get lost. The fan has three speeds that put out quite a bit of air. The only downside to the air flow is that it is louder than expected. It has a setting on it that says that it reduces the noise, but I have either not figured out how to use it or it doesn't really do a lot to lower the noise (it is probably a ME problem). In addition to the three speed setting, the fan also oscillates, has a time, and an AI setting that increases the speed as the temprature increases and then shuts off compeltely if the temprature gets low enought which i thought was a great function. Overall I paid $67.99 for this fan and it has been worth every penny so far. I like it so much that I have ordered a desktop version for my home office! ... show more

I was skeptical because I never heard of this brand, but I'm glad I did. This fan is very powerful and cools my kitchen and dining area. I enjoy spending time in my kitchen again during the summer. It's really not noticeably that noisy, unless you are right next to it when it's on high. It's widespread distance is amazing. Only downfall is the cord is too short, plan to get a small indoor extension cord. The features are pretty useful unless your house in the summer fluctuates then the fan will kick on and off, that gets annoying. It's easier for us to run it all day. I shut it off when we go to bed. All in all it's a great fan, I will most likely order another one next summer for another area of our home. ... show more

This is a nice fan. Operates very well and definitely cools the room. Great features with nature and AI modes. The oscillation is smooth and it does not stick or tick, with a good quiet operation there. The only thing I was disappointed with, and it is not a deal breaker, is that "sleep mode" or quiet mode is the same as the fan on low speed or speed one. I could not hear any audible difference between normal at level one and sleep mode at level one. The fan is not super loud but you can hear the fan running on low speed and it does have a slight mechanical whir to it. Not sure if this will bug me while sleeping or help me sleep better. Update to my previous review: Customer service was amazing. They contacted me after my review and offered to send a new fan. The 2nd fan they sent me works great...we love it. The first one we received must have been a fluke because the new one works perfectly. Thank you for the wonderful customer service. I am a happy customer! I don't like this fan. The sleep feature doesnt work, it stays just as loud as the regular mode. The directions for use are useless. It shouldn't be hard to figure out. The other one we have works great, but not this one. I would not buy again, especially for the price. I found one like it at Costco for $22 cheaper. It is much quieter and puts out more air. I'm disappointed in this fan. I'd return it if I would have kept the box. ... show more

I bought this fan for a family room that gets warmer than the rest of the house. I purchased this fan with a lightning deal, but even with the lightning deal it's not worth the money. Unboxing the Tower from the base was not a problem, but I heard a part rattling on the inside of the tower before I even removed it completely from the box . The assembly from the tower to the base is flimsy, and nearly impossible to attach and stay stable. Honestly, even if you get it attached correctly, it's going to be unstable. I had to prop it in front of a piece of furniture to keep it upright without leaning. Also, if you decide that you're going to use the oscillating feature, it will not move steadily because of the base sturdiness, The higher the speed of the fan, the more wobble of the tower. The fan mechanics, as far as ,temperature, speed, noise, etc., are all very mediocre. The fan speed works backward. You have to press the speed button down from 3 to 2 to1. As far as the strength of its power, I can't run the fan at top speed because of the flimsiness of the fan. It comes with a remote which is useless because you have to stand less than 2 inches directly in front of the machine in order for it to work. If you try to use it across a room, it doesn't work, even if it's directly lined with the front face of the fan, it can't pick up the signal. I don't use the remote at all. The controls at the top of the fan you have to stand in front of the fan look for the appropriate button which are not lit, and you have to tap each button twice in order for it to work. The power of the fan is probably standard, but again, I don't run it at top speed because of the wobble and unsteadiness of the whole fan. The appearance of the fan Is sleek and modern, but that doesn't matter as far as the concerns with the functionality. You may be wondering why I kept the fan? I had a 16 year old dog that had a double coat that needed a fan in that room, because he was ill. I didn't want to disassemble, box up, and return this piece of junk. It wasn't worth my time. My advice: Spend more money, buy the name brand, and let this review help you decide this is a hard "NO"! Pass on this fan. ... show more
