    • Easy to assemble? No. Well, yes after you've done it many times, but not the 1st-10th time

Don't get me wrong. This is actually a pretty good golf net. The instructions are worthless, but once you figure it out, you're about home free. The mistake I made with my last net was leaving it out in the weather. The sun destroyed the nylon through which you insert the poles (think modern two-man tent with break-down flexible poles). So now, I break down the net after each use. Takes me less than five minutes tops. I leave the poles in their nylon slips and disconnect the poles at the very top which allows them to straighten out. I then roll up the whole thing and put it in the garage. Takes less than 5 minutes to set it up. The key is to color code the pole ends with their respective receivers. The target is a great addition. It serves two functions: 1) you see direct and offline shots and 2) it absorbs the blow of the golf ball so the net behind it doesn't take a beating. It takes about 47 attempts to figure out how to get the target to stay hooked up, but once you figure it out, you're good to go. My only complaint is a small tear appeared in the bottom fabric for no reason I can find. I fixed it with two inches of duct tape on top and bottom. A similar tear appeared where the net meets the bottom material. Again, no reason that I can find. I fixed it the same with duct tape and have had no issues since. I'm pretty sure this material would succumb to the sun's rays and disintegrate but I've made that a non-issue. All in all, I get a lot of use out of it and like it. ... show more

I set up the golf net yesterday after receiving it and I hit about 50 balls with my driver from about 8 ft. from the front of the net. It was easy to set up and pretty intuitive for anyone who ever set up a tent before. I'd say it took about 10 minutes to get it all together. The net was a great size and I had no concerns about missing it. My drives mostly all hit the target piece, which was very useful to have and was positioned in a good spot, which helped me judge my shot beyond just the sound. The couple of shots that missed the target and hit the net directly were not a problem and the net held up fine. I can't wait to begin practicing regularly without having to go to the driving range. Being easy to put together and take down will make that more likely. Overall, a great product from my first impression and I look forward to using it over and over. I bought this now because my older one was being destroyed by the elements and I felt it was a little too short in the width. Like many of you I’m sheltering in place and miss playing golf every week. I had my doubts about this product after taking all the items out of the bag and especially after assembling the polls. The directions are basically of no use but if you’ve ever set up a tent it’s not that difficult. I was pleasantly surprised when I finally got it all set up how nice it was And surprisingly how sturdy it was. I bought some anchors separately at an earlier time because of my previous net which are strong and sturdy and use those for the pin the net so it stays nice and calm in the wind. Though I would recommend taking down the target screen that hangs in the net when not in use so it doesn’t act like a sale on a boat. I would highly write this practice net for anyone who wants to hit in their yard and is scared of shanking a ball every now and then. My favorite part of the net is that it has a bottom where My last net did not and when you hit balls into it they fell onto the grass, and this one they fall onto the fabric coding bottom of this net and makes it easier to gather the balls. It also keeps the balls in a better condition than the grass. Overall for the price I definitely recommend this practice net ... show more

I've set up this golf net three times now. I cannot get everything back into the bag, nor did I spend a ton of effort trying to, figuring the poles may create a tear. In the second picture, one pole through the red sleeve, one pole through the other black sleeve. I time myself on the third attempt to set it up. I had the poles straightened and through the sleeves the the net standing in about seven minutes. It only took another two to complete, so from start to finish, it shouldn't take more then ten minutes to stand it up and anchor it to the ground. I've his full practice shots and small practice shots. I'm happy with the product. It's fairly easy to assemble. It's held up so far, albeit, I haven't used it a ton.     • Superior Golf Driving Net at a Great Price

I've been using this net for almost 5 months in my back yard. Have hit thousands of balls into it from wedges to drivers--mostly 3-4-5 irons. It is holding up very well and I would rate the durability as excellent. But I'm 77 and don't have the swing speed I did as a youngster. So I don't know what would happen if Bryson Dechambeau unloaded a driver into it. It was easy to setup (with a little help from my wife) in under 30 minutes. And it stays in place with the tie-downs that are provided. While I have it on grass, it could easily be set up on a hard surface such as asphalt, concrete, or inside your house (if you have the space. On a hard surface, you may not be able to use the tie-downs, unless you jerry rig them with some heavy object to help stay in place . But the tie-downs aren't required as they are mainly to keep it from blowing over in a strong wind. The only drawback is it takes a big space. But that is also a plus if you have the needed space. I had one minor issue and when I contacted the company (Galileo), their response was rapid and exceptional. I don't know if this specific item is still available. But if not, I'd have confidence in buying a similar item from them. ... show more

Pretty easy to put together, it is similar to a tent. Pretty sturdy. I take it down when Im done using it. It folds up back into the bag fairly easily as well.
