Style: 1 Golf Chipping Net
For the price and convenience, this golf training aid is a great deal. If, like me, you don't devote enough time to your pitching and chipping, this product just might propel you to practice more and shave several more strokes off your round. No need to drive to that distant driving range, just walk into your back yard and set this up. It comes in a small drawstring pouch - really much smaller than you might anticipate. When stored away, you could easily carry this in your golf bag and have it at the ready no matter where you are. If you have ever used a portable photography reflector you will understand how this works. It has a flexible outer ring that, with the twist of your hand, can be folded back on itself, making the ring and net much smaller and easy to slide back into the carrying pouch. Trust me. Once you open the package for the first time you will know what I am talking about. Setup is practically instantaneous. Pull it out of the bag, flip it open and it expands into its final shape. But don't have it near your face when you open it up unless you want to potentially be smacked in the face. It ships with two small poles that flip open (each pole is divided into 3 sections with a nylon stretchy cord running inside of the pole - think of it like a flexible portable tent pole). Simply insert the expanded poles into the metal grommets built into the net itself. The poles give the net its structure and hold everything in place. Seriously, you can have this set up in about 10 - 15 seconds. It also comes with two ground stakes that you can use to anchor the chipping net to the ground on windy days (and this unit is light enough that you will be glad you have those ground stakes. I put my out on a windy day and it didn't take long for it to roll around). It isn't too large or too small. It seems just about the correct size for target practice. Will this make you a better golfer? If you use it on a regular basis I'm pretty confident it will help you elevate your game and shave some strokes off your round. And, setup and takedown is so quick and easy you really have no excuse not to get out and practice. Good luck on the course. This chipping net is very easy to set up and it can easily be folded for compact transport. The net itself is a little small once you set it up but the materials seem to be pretty sturdy. Even though the small size makes it difficult to use from farther distance, it is very portable and doesn't take up much space at all which makes it ideal for use it limited space areas or even inside. I also wished you could adjust the angle of the net for times when you need set it up on sloped surfaces.
