I’ve been using this brand for years. Just got a new kit in the mail and decided to actually type up a review. My brows are much lighter than my natural hair color on my head, and I prefer to have a bit of color added to them so I can go makeup free when I feel like it. I’d say for me since tint will gradually lighten over time, and my preferred touch up is needed about every 3-4 weeks. This is different from the instructions, but I choose to leave on to process for 10 minutes, and then wipe off excess with a baby wipe or makeup wipe. It’s easy to mix in the supplied mixing bowl. The applicator brush is perfect to get your brows lined and filled in with tint (if you “color outside the lines, just use a Q-tip immediately to clean off skin to prevent staining). Each capsule makes more than enough for your brows. Clean up is a breeze. I make sure to clean the bowl & applicator thoroughly, and dry completely, before storing in the original packaging. Things to know: Sometimes the capsules are difficult to separate to open. Take your time. I have had to cut a few open with scissors in the past. This is dye. It will stain your skin. So, don’t apply and leave on areas you don’t want to be tinted. ... show more

I’ve been contemplating micro blading or something similar to keep my brows looking naturally filled. I’m a victim of over plucking in my younger years and I’ve grown tired of trying countless brow pens, gels, powders and my search ends here! This product is wonderful because the color is consistent with the pictures online and it’s very safe to use. It only takes a few minutes for the color to set in and it lasts about a week, which is how long a brow tint done in the salon usually lasts…so this product is a huge money saver. So, the produce works. Not the easiest to use as you have to mix the coloring with a cream base and it gives you no way to measure and appropriate amount based on how many of the coloring capsules you use. So it's a bit of a guessing game there. Had to use 4 capsules to color my hair and goatee beard which seems to be quite a bit for the price. But the color worked great. I’ve been using this product for about 7 years now so I think it deserves a positive review. I am a naturally redheaded male with completely invisible platinum blonde eyebrows. When I was in high school one of my friends sisters filled in my eyebrows for fun and commented on how attractive I was with eyebrows. In hindsight I think she was flirting but oh well. When I headed to college I remembered that and decided to see if I could just permanently dye my eyebrows. I use this product for my eyebrows to cover the grey. The most complex part of using it is getting the capsules open. For the ones with the wooden sticks, I run the flat edge around the inside of the capsule to make it easier to pull apart. Be careful separating the capsule so it doesn't spill all over the place. Put a paper towel under the black container as you gently pull the capsule apart over the black container. It's pretty easy after that. I hate applying makeup and will do anything I can to make my morning routine easier on myself, including tinting my eyebrows (even though technically they say not to use this for that). I've been using this brand to tint my eyebrows for years and it works great. My eyebrows are completely white and practically invisible if I do not tint them (or color them daily), so using this tint has been so helpful in saving me time each day. The color lasts for about 2 weeks, but the ends of my eyebrows definitely start fading within the first few days. It's not really a big deal, I just color them in with an eyebrow pencil. The main part of my brows stay colored for much longer and that's all I care about. The smaller box I used to order was really difficult to put on, but this box came with a much better applicator brush that made applying the product so much more precise. I've never had an issue with the product coloring my skin (I don't bother applying oil or Vaseline to protect it), though I do wipe it off immediately if I notice some color has escaped from my brows. One thing I've discovered is that I have to leave the product on a lot longer than recommended to get the desired color. If I just go 1-2 minutes, almost all the color wipes off. It does darken a bit more after removing it, so keep that in mind, but not a ton. My only complaint about this tint (and every other tint I've ever tried) is that they run on the cool side. Meaning, they aren't warm colors, but instead are cool shades of brown, so they end up looking blackish the darker you let it get, rather than just dark brown. I'd love to find a color that has warm undertones as I'm fair skinned with a warmer complexion, but until that day comes, this works really well and is way more affordable than getting my brows professionally tinted. ... show more
