Not that Giraffe needs another good review, but this thing is great! I'm an avid gardener with a 3/4 acre lot and four outdoor hose bibs. I ordered one of these as a test drive and I'm going to add one or two a month until I have one on every hose bib. Super easy to install with one minor gripe: no one has a 7/16" drill bit. The plastic anchors they give you are a little flimsy and will bend when you try to tap them into the 3/8" hole. You have to work the hole a little so that the anchors will go in, and I used other 3/8" anchors I already had instead. OR, Giraffe could recognize this reality and send standard sized anchors and bolts! Otherwise, very easy install. Oh, and you'll want to get some rubber hose washers for the leader hose as none were included and it will leak without that. Aside from trivial install issues, using the hose is a major game changer for a large property. No more piles of hoses or getting dirty trying to manually reel in or coil. Where to start... Really straight forward. Pull the metal pipe out that makes the unit able to swivel then you have the mounting piece easily available for mounting. Keep in mind it's 40# so mount accordingly. Works like a charm. I guess the only complaints I have is when Amazon tells you to expect the item the next day and it comes the day after really sucks. It's no fault of the company, Giraffe Tools. They did their job. I was tracking the package and it was sitting at the Amazon facility the next day. I was worried about the quality and how well it would hold up to a South Texas summer. I am impressed at how well it has done and at the surprisingly good quality of the reel and mounting bracket. Im already recommending this to the neighbors. Sure, It is a thin hose, but the 8 year old can pull that sucker all the way down the 100ft drive and still have great water pressure when he gets down to the end. Works but the plastic of the case does not like UV and will become brittle after a couple of years. Comes with a short pipe to connect to your faucet: be wary of this. The metal is very soft and on the second year has chemically reacted with the brass of my faucet becoming stuck on

Retractor failed on first unit, but they replaced it immediately and this is a good brand. We have a couple others that work great! The thin hose is good for a compact fit, and you shouldn’t go too fast or it might get tangled up. Super easy to handle and solid build.
