The media could not be loaded. I’ve included a video of how to fix a slight design issue concerning reinforced sleeved hoses. Once you get past that minor hiccup it’s a fantastic hose reel. If the hose you are using does not have a sleeved reinforced end, you will not have an issue. It rolls up very smoothly and does a great job. It made short work of a heavy 80 foot hose. It’s also very well built. However, if you’re using a high-quality hose, you will not be able to get anywhere near 200 feet on there. I’ve included a picture of my hose completely rolled up. It’s 80 feet long and there might be room on that reel for another 20 feet. But if you’re using a very thin hose, or collapsible flat hose, I’m sure you could get 200 feet on there. ... show more

Don't fight your hose anymore, this heavy duty hose reel works like a charm. (We fastened it to the concrete slab which is under the faucet). Worth every penny!

I was hoping this hose reel would work for me. It did not hold 200' of 5/8" hose. It held about 170'. Another thing to consider is the weight of your hose. Mine were two of the Costco 5/8" x 100' garden hose for a total length of 200' and are heavy. More than 100' will be more difficult to wind for us older folks. It is well made and easy to hookup. I would recommend this reel for shorter and smaller size hose. ... show more

This sturdy, all-steel hose reel can sit on a patio or be mounted to a wall. Assembly is easy & the reel easily accepted my 100-ft hose with ample room to spare. No leaks after assembly. The reel feeds out hose & takes it up much more smoothly than my previous, plastic hose reel. I'm very pleased.

Looks strong and made of metal but plastic parts hold the two components together. Plastic nut keeps coming loose near crank which seems to be the backbone of this unit. Durability is a concern with the plastic used on these critical parts.
