Ugh this is such a great buy. I love the elegance it adds to any space and so easy to use without worrying about the mess of actual candles. I love that it comes with a remote that you can put a timer on! I even use it in my bedroom before going to sleep to set a lovely relaxing mood and then have it turn off automatically after a set time. The media could not be loaded. I love these Flameless Candles! As someone who’s typically not a fan of flameless options, I was pleasantly surprised by how realistic and beautiful these candles are. They create the perfect ambiance with a soft, flickering glow and quality design. I use them in areas where I can’t monitor a real flame, like near my Christmas garlands or on shelves close to walls, and they give me complete peace of mind while still looking stunning. The only minor downside is that the battery can drain if you forget to switch the button off at the bottom. If you go weeks without using them, I recommend switching them off completely instead of just the remote "off" option. However, as long as you remember to turn them off when not using them for a period of time they’re an incredible addition to any home. Highly recommend! ... show more

These are really nice, except one was cracked but it is ok not that noticeable. These are made with wax on the out side and you can make them brighter or dimmer. You can also have them flicker or not. It take 2 (aaa) batteries so make sure you have enough and it comes with a remote. (Don’t loose the remote) ... show more

Got these on prime day, and they feel real and look pretty nice in operation. Two of them didn't work initially due to switch contacts being improperly shaped (so no contact); this was correctable but shows terrible quality control. When we brought them out to use this Christmas we found that one of the was not able to keep time, and would turn on and off almost randomly; the other five work great and keep time as expected (for the timer on/off cycles). So again, quality control is lacking. But the five that work properly have made a nice upgrade to our Christmas decor. ... show more

These candles look so real. Does take a lot of batteries but so worth it. The remote is so convenient. The flickering feature looks like a real candle with flames. Fits great in my candle holders.

    • 24 hour timing repeat cycle

Set the “on” duration of 2,4,6,or 8 hours via the remote. The 24 hour timing cycle turns them on at the same time each day that you initially turn them on. They remain on for the # of hrs you set, then turn off for 16 to 22 hours to complete a 24 hr period. The initial programming and timing choices repeat until you reset them. The remote also controls the on/off, steady or flicker flame and brightness as well as the 24 hour cycling timer. I have had 24 of these real wax coated 9.5 tall tapers set up as window candles year round for 2 years without any issues. The batteries last an almost a year running them for 4 hours each night in the fall and winter. The functionality, anuthenticity and quality can’t be beat. ... show more

I have always used real candles, but over the holidays with all the entertaining, I really noticed that I was blowing through candles and it gets very expensive. I tried these taper candles and was more than happy with them. They will become a staple in my home. I especially like that I can keep them lit unattended and not worry. ... show more

    • One candle was damaged & did not turn on....

These are expensive & I bought them for the remote control feature. I needed 6 for my 6 front windows. Alas, only 5 of the 6 turned on when new batteries from the same package were inserted. Be prepared to be disappointed. And of course, I can't just return 1/5 while needing the others. Note to buyers: Last year I ordered similar candles from g+pft. I removed all the batteries & carefully stored them at room temperature inside in a closet. When I went to set them in my windows with new batteries in all & the remote did not work. I checked the remote battery.. it was fine. I got NO response from the supplier about what to do. Another poor choice for this product. Beware.... I hope to have better luck with these 5 next season. ... show more
