They are gorgeous, I love the fact you can adjust brightness, flicker feature, the timer, realistic appearance. I will however include: if you drop them, it will break (crack) it’s a wax like material, do not tightly screw on the white piece on the bottom (battery port) too tightly as plastic threader piece will break and there is nothing left to hold your batteries in. The experiences indicated are the reason I had to order another set but overall I love them and would obviously purchase again! ... show more

To begin with, I am very picky. These candles look very real. The light doesn’t move but it flickers lightly, so it really looks like a flame. The black wick also makes it look more realistic. I like the look of some melted wax at the top of top and that the candle is wax. They are a good size for a tall or short candle holder. Having a box of 6 is great, as many candle stick sets now come in a set of three. The remote control works well, and is convenient. Great price point too. I even got an extra 10 percent offer. These are in my windows for Christmas. They are pretty and realistic. After a week, the timer was having them turn on a little early, so I reset it. Other than that, I really like them. Make sure you see them blink to know the timer signal was received from the remote.

I really like the candles and the look of them. Color is great, flicker is great. However, the timer function does not work. I will set them and then I will notice one or 2 may go out before the time is up. Or the next day some will come on early or not come on at the time set. I just use them manually, with the remote now. Its just an extra step and I notice I dont always turn them on because I forget about it, then dont want to bother because I'd be about to turn them off in a bit anyway. But they are nice and the remote function at least makes the turning on and off quick and easy... I keep them on top of my kitchen cabinets so they are out of reach. ... show more

First off, I’m not new to led candles and I quite like this light source. In this particular case the good are: They look very good Fit into the candle holders well Non-remote mode works well They are bright The bad: 1) The candle flicker programming is not random, this means that when you turn them on, they all follow the same pattern of flicker synchronized. It completely destroys the illusion of natural candles. I would recommend randomizing the flicker pattern or at the very least where in the pattern they turn on. I’m solving this by manually turning the candles on and off but this makes the remote less useful. 2) They do not hold the last brightness setting when power cycling. This means they turn in to their brightest setting with every on cycle. This makes turning them on manually very annoying as then I have to use the remote to decrease brightness. 3) the remote has a black case/back and this makes it easy to loose. I spray painted mine orange. 4) they do not function on the same frequency as my other candles witch means I have to have 2 remotes. Would love a programmable option on the candles so I can use another remote with them. ... show more

Use them in windows at Christmas time. Very pleased with my purchase. Insert them in the candlestick holders I also purchased and fit perfectly on my windowsills.
