Is this forreal? For under $40? Lol. I honestly didn't know what to expect. All I knew is that I did not want just any kind of chair. I currently have 3 office-style chairs in my house that each sit at a desk. There are also a lot of fantastic, high-end, expensive desk chairs at my job that I work from. The three chairs at my home are just ok, with only one giving an overall sense of satisfaction. The ones at my job are exclusive and really comfortable to sit in. None of them are leather by the way. I happen to not be a fan of leather chairs and couches. They tend to be bulky, rough, and not so pleasant to sit in for long periods of time. I didn't want that for my new desk space. I searched endlessly and tirelessly online for what I hoped to be a lasting chair that would provide ease, comfort, relaxation, durability, and bolstering. This chair by Furmax gets a 5/5 in every category. It took me just about 25 minutes to assemble (which is only because I'm not much of a handy tool guy). I'd say this chair takes 15 minutes tops to assemble when done precisely and correctly. The moment I sat in it, I was instantly relieved of any doubt or speculation that it wouldn't be of long-term use for me. The seat itself, which you can see in the pics, is large, plush, and incredibly comfortable to sit on! I'm pleased every time I sit in it. I wondered if the handles would be hard when I was purchasing it, but they are actually totally relaxing while being firm enough to hold and lean on. The chair's back is quality at its finest with ultimate back support. Seating adjustment with the lever is as simple and easy as it gets, and the height just right! The wheels move smoothly and easily across my hardwood floor with absolutely no means of scratching or denting it. This chair is total finesse! I wholeheartedly recommend it to you. It is the best of all my home desk chairs, and can even compete with the best of the high end office chairs at my job. For the price it is superb! This chair is easy to assemble IF you read the directions carefully. Screws and pieces all have their own number or letter. The directions tell you clearly which screw goes where. Print is small but readable. Finished chair is very comfortable and moves smoothly across the floor.

Bought this chair and it arrived on time, put it together excitedly b/c I had been without a desk chair for a week or so since my old one had bit the dust and was happy to be back to normal. I had it about two days and one of the castors snapped somewhere on the inside so that the wheel stayed in place but you could no longer put any weight on that particular area or the wheel would not support the chair any longer and you would lean enough to fall out easily if you were not ready to catch yourself. I was well within my return period but did not want to go through the hassle of dismantling, repackaging and sending the chair back, and this was mandatory for both of my return options which were a replacement chair or a refund of my money. So, I reached out to the seller via Amazon with fingers crossed and explained the situation and provided them with some photos of the damage. They responded VERY quickly and agreed to my request to just send me a replacement castor so I could replace the broken one. As I had hoped, they did not just send one castor either but a sleeve of five just like you receive when you purchase a chair initially. They also shipped them out quickly and provided me with tracking information. So with minimal back and forth they were very helpful and efficient with correcting my issue, I appreciate their customer service very much. The chair itself is exactly what you would expect from a $40 chair, it could be more comfortable and ergonomic and this and that but it is now stable, provides decent back support and raises/lowers easily. Plus, I have four extra wheels now in case the overall quality of them proves to be an ongoing issues. For the price, this chair does the basic of what it is; okay-ish cushion, okay back of the chair, smooth wheels so it's very cost effective and easy to put together. However, I realize I have more needs to a chair. I like to sit cross-legged in my chair every now and then and the way the arm rests are designed, you cannot sit comfortably with your legs and feet on the seat (my other office chair did and didn't realize I took it for granted!). Also it's not very wide so the seat is okay for my size (medium) but there's not so much extra room. ... show more

The wheels seem to be fine for vinyl plank flooring, the seat is comfortable for extended periods of time, and the armrests are low-profile yet useful. Aligning the screw holes for connecting the backrest to the base was very difficult, but eventually workable. It does make a sound and move slightly/temporarily out of place if I lay on the backrest. I cannot comment on the height adjustment, as I always keep it at its lowest setting. go together pretty easy. sturdy, holds 250 lbs neighbor when we watch football games, rolls good over concrete patio. these are in a shelter house, so they are not out in the full elements. would buy again, great for personal bar area and lets me keep one eye on the game and one eye on the doggo.
