My workplace is often somewhat warm and this works great to help keep me from getting sweaty! It offers a moderate amount of cooling and has three setting for the fan (low, medium, high). On the medium setting I get hours of use out of it and it usually lasts for my entire, 8 hour, work day (but I do NOT run it continuously). It recharges quickly. Four hours fully recharges from completely dead. It does not work very well in an extremely hot environment since it recirculates the ambient air. If you use it outside when it’s 90° it’s just going to blow the hot, 90° air back at your face. But it works great when you’re inside and the area is just too warm (and you don’t control the thermostat). I work as a floral designer in a large supermarket and I would be super sweaty at work every day. Using this I don’t get sweaty and feel much more comfortable. It’s comfortable to wear and lightweight. Plus the black, carbon fiber design I chose doesn’t really stand out so it’s not super noticeable. It’s also great for hot flashes!! ... show more

I wanted a personal fan that was quiet. On level one it's quiet. Level two is not quiet and level three "forget about it!" There's no quiet at level 3. In my opinion you can't hear your thoughts much less anyone words spoken to you. But it will cool you down and prevent face sweating Great value for the money. Airflow is good and it's light weight. The speed of the fan is what makes it loud on level 3. The most important thing to consider is that it the temperature of the air it blows is from the temperature of the air surrounding you. In other words if you standing in the sun with 110 degrees weather all around you this fan will blow hot 110 degrees weather on your face. I ordered two. 1 black 1 in the dark green. I received pink instead of green (yuck - not a pink girl), but hot so using. Too soon to tell but does have 3-speeds. Comes with a short cord to charge unit. You will need the usb port/plug. I am not really feeling air anywhere but at front where fans are located. Would like a bit more on neck. Hoping to use when sitting outside this summer AND doing my hair and makeup. It is brutal in AZ when 115 and A/C set at 78 to not work it as hard. New, so not rating 5. No idea how long battery lasts. There is some noise, especially on two highest of three settings. I need an a/c suit!
