    • Gets the job done
Obviously, if I have to buy one of these, there's the assumption that I'm handicapped, and I really needed this attachment for my personal use. It was kind of confusing to install (no instructions included) but I managed to figure it out after several different tries. Now that it's attached, I use it every time I go shopping. It barely fits in my building's elevator when in use, but I manage if I'm the only one in the elevator. Now, the pin that holds the basket in the upright and extended positions is rather difficult for an older person to pull in and out without a bit of a struggle. Getting the sides of the basket in place and then folded again can be a challenge and might leave you with some knuckle scrapes, but I can't see how one could manufacture it any other way to keep it sturdy enough for the tasks it performs. It is quite heavy and will slow your scooter down a bit, but only going up hills, especially when fully loaded. I live in Atlanta where there are hills everywhere, and my neighborhood is no exception. But I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to add a basket to their mobility scooter. ... show more

Love that I can bring my pool bag and floaty up to the pool. It's a decent size and installs and removes easily via a hitch pin. Love this!

This idea is great idea and works for the most part. As a disabled veteran, I need to transport my chair when I go to the store, doctor's office, et cetera. While transporting my chair I begin to notice the frame bending and that my cotter pins would wiggle loose. I was able to find replacement pins (shown in photos) at my local hardware store. If you purchase this product just know that you will need to bend the frame back in place every so often. I use a pair of pliers. If I have to I will buy this product again. Shipping was fast, product easy to install. No real assembly required. Just install one bolt and nut and tighten. Insert into Trailer Hitch and put in 2 Roller Pins (1 holds it in, the other is for the Tilt ). Basket is nice and large, made of heavy Duty materials. Has Reflective Panels when it's lowered. Basket has built-in clips, you lift all the sides and they clip together, and when you lower then, watch how you do it. One of the side pieces has a Flip Up Clip and you should lower the Front and Back, then the one on the Left, and finally the one on the Right. Flip up the Clip and it Latches and holds all tightly together. Then, Just pull one pin and raise and reinstall the pin. Now, It fits nicely in upright position behind the seat. I'm a Safety Oriented person, I'm going to add some lights to mine, as well as a light kit for my Jazzy Elite 14. I would highly recommend this product! I can't say that everyone would get full use or any use out of this. It just depends on your condition and/or you have someone to help you. I can reach around to put afew items in. But, That isn't organized, basically dropping in. But, Something is Better than Nothing!! I'm on a Oxygen Concentrator and love the Basket because I now don't have to carry it on my lap. I can carry in the basket and wrap the carry strap around the back and under. The only thing I personally don't like, Is the Roller Pins. They don't have the Locking Bar/Loop whatever it's called. So, I will swap out the pins for those. You can get them at Hardware stores or maybe even here on Amazon. ... show more
