Top Amazon Reviews

🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The scooter has some benefits such as bring comfort and mobility to those in need, but the product seems to have reliability issues. Some users mentioned that the batteries didn’t last very long and had issues with the charger. On the other hand, many reviewers really appreciated the mobility it gave them and helped to increase their quality of life.

Pros

  • 👍 Great for increased mobility
  • 👏Compact and easy to transport
  • 🌼Helpful for elderly or those with health issues

Cons

  • 😞 Short battery life
  • 😓 Charger quality issues
  • 👎 Poor turning radius

Should I Buy It?

If the user values mobility and independence more over product reliability issues, this scooter could be worth considering. However, with the repeated battery and charger issues, potential purchasers may want to seek a more reliable product.

  • Easy to assembly and take apart to load in my van.
Style: Ruby Red
I am handicapped and disable, it is a blessing to own this E W mobility scooter, I can load it by myself , once you disassemble it, it is easy to load in my van, in other words pieces are about 28 lbs. each and only takes a minute or two to load it in my van. So i believe in E W scooters. The price is right. Go get you one. ... show more

  • Missing parts AND dies in heat
This arrived scuffed on the bottom front (see picture of bumper) and missing one of the arm rests (see picture of seat and arm rests). The scuffs were cosmetic only, so they were not a problem. I did, however, reach out requesting an additional arm rest, but I never received a response from the seller. Despite missing an arm rest, I used this once to go to a theme park in central Florida. Due to the summer heat, the battery of the scooter overheated and it stopped working mid-park. It only worked again once the scooter was rained on and cooled down. It was used on and off for approximately 1-2 miles in 1 hour before it stopped working. I had to push it out of the park in the rain. I did attempt to turn it on again after it had been raining for several minutes, and it worked again, so it made it the 5 minutes to the car. As a person with mobility issues around walking distances, this was beyond inconvenient. If I could give it zero stars I would. Also, given the nature of how ours arrived (scuffed and missing pieces), I can only assume that this was a defective, returned item that was sent to me at full price. This all being said, I imagine it would work in an air-conditioned, indoor environment. If you are purchasing for the sole purpose of using it in big box stores or other air conditioned venues, it might work for you. If you ever plan to use it outdoors and you live in a remotely warm area, get a better model. ... show more

  • Easy set up
After reading multiple reviews and several models later, this is the one that I went with for my mom who is 76yr old and 250ish pounds. I needed something that would be comfortable and durable. So far, she's loving it! (We live in a complex and now she can take the trash out!) Set up was fairly easy - the instructions are sufficient for the most part but if you have common sense, then you'll have no problem putting it together. It took my husband and I less than 15 minutes. I did test it out myself. My only con would be the comfort of the seat (back piece) I didn't find it comfortable but my mom did so that's a plus! Side note..my mom is only 5' and she room to put her feet up. The seat is adjustable, but I'm not sure how high. I don't imagine it would be good for taller people 6'+ Other than the minor details we're very satisfied so far 😁 thank you! ... show more

  • It’s heavy, loud back up you cannot turn off, and battery doesn’t last.
Overall it was easy to put together, got there fast and looked good. But I got this for my grandmother who if limited in technology and in capacity in doing things, if it wasn’t for me she wouldn’t have been able to put it together at all. She has had it since right after Christmas and she got complaints from her living facility about the loud backup noise, so much so they had to disconnect the horn on it. Now the battery isn’t holding a charge. She only ever plugs it in long enough to get a green light and then it only last about 20-30 minutes. For something so expensive and brand new, you’d think it’d last longer. She’s on a tight budget and needed this, still does but now she has to get a new battery for it. Overall she’s disappointed she got it, but was happy with it for the short time it worked. ... show more

  • My new ride
Style: Ruby Red
I have trouble walking and breathing. So far this has given me some freedom to go check my mail and take out my trash. I can even go out and visit my neighbors in this senior housing. I simply love this. So easy to drive and it rides so smooth. I’m so proud of it. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. It’s very sturdy and the battery seems it holds a charge real well. I’ve been zipping around with it for 4 days and it’s hardly used any of the battery. Can’t say enough good things about it. Would recommend you get one and get your freedom back. ... show more

  • Customer Service is not great
I have had 2 issues with this product. The first issue was resolved in a timely manner. The second issue i have is the scooters (2) will not work. I have done everything that their customer service advised me to do and they still don't work. They asked for a video of the scooter not working which was sent to them. Then I don't hear from them. I had to pay over $500 to have a repair person come out to try and fix the scooters. I will never buy anything from this company again. ... show more

  • Great for the price!!
The scooter is lightweight!! I was taking it apart to put it in my crv, when I noticed that I don't need to do that anymore. I just put something over the fender to avoid scratching and it rolls in and out really well. Lifting it back into the vehicle is pretty easy by myself!

  • Won’t traverse lawn or gravel walk
Scooter woks beautifully indoors on smooth surfaces, but gets hung up easily on a dirt clod, a submerged tree roots or a sandy spot in an otherwise smooth appearing lawn. I cannot travel 23 feet without the wheels stalling. That then requires me to get off, stsmd up, put it into neutral, manually move it, then put it back into gear and restart. This means no independence just to ride around my house —someone has to be there to assist. I had a nice ADA compliant ramp built, followed by a rubber surfaced walkway to get to car, there is a gentle slope to get there and any turns feel very precarious and feels and looks like it is sbout to turn over due to the very small wheels. The back-up alert is extremely loud, which makes it impossible for me to get myself to the bathroom and turn it around to maneuver the path without awakening my care giver in the middle of the night. There were no instructions in booklet about how to disconnect that infernal noise. I don’t need it in a house alone with just a caregiver. I was told there is a way to disconnect it, but a call has to be made to the help line and then oral instructions had to be followed. Customer service follow up has been good. Help line service was courteous. Overall a great product if you are in town on paved or completely smooth surfaces. ... show more
