Top Amazon Reviews

🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The scooter has some benefits such as bring comfort and mobility to those in need, but the product seems to have reliability issues. Some users mentioned that the batteries didn’t last very long and had issues with the charger. On the other hand, many reviewers really appreciated the mobility it gave them and helped to increase their quality of life.

Pros

  • 👍 Great for increased mobility
  • 👏Compact and easy to transport
  • 🌼Helpful for elderly or those with health issues

Cons

  • 😞 Short battery life
  • 😓 Charger quality issues
  • 👎 Poor turning radius

Should I Buy It?

If the user values mobility and independence more over product reliability issues, this scooter could be worth considering. However, with the repeated battery and charger issues, potential purchasers may want to seek a more reliable product.

  • My new ride
Style: Ruby Red
I have trouble walking and breathing. So far this has given me some freedom to go check my mail and take out my trash. I can even go out and visit my neighbors in this senior housing. I simply love this. So easy to drive and it rides so smooth. I’m so proud of it. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. It’s very sturdy and the battery seems it holds a charge real well. I’ve been zipping around with it for 4 days and it’s hardly used any of the battery. Can’t say enough good things about it. Would recommend you get one and get your freedom back. ... show more

  • Missing parts AND dies in heat
This arrived scuffed on the bottom front (see picture of bumper) and missing one of the arm rests (see picture of seat and arm rests). The scuffs were cosmetic only, so they were not a problem. I did, however, reach out requesting an additional arm rest, but I never received a response from the seller. Despite missing an arm rest, I used this once to go to a theme park in central Florida. Due to the summer heat, the battery of the scooter overheated and it stopped working mid-park. It only worked again once the scooter was rained on and cooled down. It was used on and off for approximately 1-2 miles in 1 hour before it stopped working. I had to push it out of the park in the rain. I did attempt to turn it on again after it had been raining for several minutes, and it worked again, so it made it the 5 minutes to the car. As a person with mobility issues around walking distances, this was beyond inconvenient. If I could give it zero stars I would. Also, given the nature of how ours arrived (scuffed and missing pieces), I can only assume that this was a defective, returned item that was sent to me at full price. This all being said, I imagine it would work in an air-conditioned, indoor environment. If you are purchasing for the sole purpose of using it in big box stores or other air conditioned venues, it might work for you. If you ever plan to use it outdoors and you live in a remotely warm area, get a better model. ... show more

  • Easy set up
After reading multiple reviews and several models later, this is the one that I went with for my mom who is 76yr old and 250ish pounds. I needed something that would be comfortable and durable. So far, she's loving it! (We live in a complex and now she can take the trash out!) Set up was fairly easy - the instructions are sufficient for the most part but if you have common sense, then you'll have no problem putting it together. It took my husband and I less than 15 minutes. I did test it out myself. My only con would be the comfort of the seat (back piece) I didn't find it comfortable but my mom did so that's a plus! Side note..my mom is only 5' and she room to put her feet up. The seat is adjustable, but I'm not sure how high. I don't imagine it would be good for taller people 6'+ Other than the minor details we're very satisfied so far 😁 thank you! ... show more

  • It’s heavy, loud back up you cannot turn off, and battery doesn’t last.
Overall it was easy to put together, got there fast and looked good. But I got this for my grandmother who if limited in technology and in capacity in doing things, if it wasn’t for me she wouldn’t have been able to put it together at all. She has had it since right after Christmas and she got complaints from her living facility about the loud backup noise, so much so they had to disconnect the horn on it. Now the battery isn’t holding a charge. She only ever plugs it in long enough to get a green light and then it only last about 20-30 minutes. For something so expensive and brand new, you’d think it’d last longer. She’s on a tight budget and needed this, still does but now she has to get a new battery for it. Overall she’s disappointed she got it, but was happy with it for the short time it worked. ... show more

  • Steering repair
Great scooter!!! Break down and reassembly is easy. Battery lasts a long time. Received on 2/2/2024 and am on second charge. I am now able to get out and shop with my spouse and have my life back after being a shutin..thanks to this mobility scooter...best part is the reasonable price. I have had to repair the steering because of loose steering. 24mm bearings and 4 stainless washers repaired it. Customer service never called back to find a repair shop in my area of 6 million people. ... show more

I ordered this and it came Saturday but cannt get it started. This is from the get go. Tried calling company but were told to leave a message and they never got back to me. • Love it!!
Bought this for my dad. He’s been cruising around in it for a few months now. It makes life so much easier and I don’t have to worry about his legs giving out! The only annoyance was the sound of the back up alarm. However, I found a YouTube video and was able to disconnect it. His neighbors in his senior living apartment are so happy now. This is a great scooter at the right price. ... show more

  • To small not tall and defective from the start
It won't stay running with me on it. I'm 5'9 275. Supposed to support 300lbs. Also for a very small person. My knees were up in my chest almost and the seat was not a deluxe seat. Very hard. I will just pay more for better quality scooter. It did run with my son on it about 180lbs. Just inside the house though. He tried it. So maybe they need to rethink the weight limits. Only had it 1 day. Waiting on return info. Also the lever you push to go and backup keeps falling off right out of the box. No way to secure it unless you glue it. I'm not doing that so that didn't work either. And it's not a one person take apart scooter. It takes 2 to put the bottom together. Unless maybe a big man. And the heaviest piece was more like 35 lbs not 29. ... show more
