We did 4 Disney parks in 4 Days. By day 2 my bottom was so sore I sat for the other 2. Animal kingdom was the worst because of uneven pavement. I noticed other scooters had much better seats and same quality as this cart. It is a great cart. movement around the house with ease. When we got home I contacted customer support about a better seat, they suggested i get a memory foam pad, so i did great addition to the bottom but the back of seat is still uncomfortable for me. so if you are only using it once or twice i suggest renting a cart with a good seat You aren't stuck with a crappy seat wit no support the seat sucks! ... show more

Advantages: safe, affordable , practical, easy to install, very simple to operate, and can be put into the trunk of an ordinary car. Disadvantages: After being disassembled, the scooter base can be put into the trunk of an ordinary car, but it is still a bit heavy for weak people. Also, because I don't know how its after-sales service is, I am a little worried. Since my 90-year-old parents were often asked about their scooters by neighbors and passers-by during the month they used it, I felt it necessary to update the relevant information. Because the price is affordable, I bought a second in one month . I also learned that the seller’s business model is to make small profits but quick turnover. So a reminder, if you are an older disabled person, you need someone to help you with after-sales maintenance and other aspects. Bought for my dad who recently had a stroke so is not longer able to walk independently. We took him to Vegas and walked the strip and the battery held for the entire day. It’s easy for him to operate. We did take it apart to put into the back of our minivan. It’s pretty smoke to disassemble. This scooter has been a God send. I am having mobility issues and it allows me to get around. The turn radius is good and the wheels are heavy duty. I like how you can change the speed because there isn't a brake. You just let go of the hand "gas pedal" and it slows down to a stop. My only issue is that there is very little room for your feet. I wear an women's 8 1/2 shoe and I have to put my feet on the platform instead of flat on the scooter. But, everything else makes this scooter worth having. ... show more

This scooter gave me a new life, allowing me freedom to get out and about. When I first received it, the battery would nit stay charged, but the customer service was excellent and they quickly sent me a new battery. I just gone done shopping in a large mall, for several hours, I only used one green dot of battery. Not sure if that makes sense, but needless to say, it worked great. I bought this about 6 months ago and really only used it in the first month. I needed it for a family get together in a resort town because I am not able to be active for any length of time and would have not been able to keep up with any walking around they wanted to do. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. While unpacking the scooter I lifted up on a handle that is used to separate the two main pieces and the handle broke off in my hand. When I later called the company for a replacement I was told that I would have to send them pictures of the parts. That gave me an idea of what their customer service was going to be worth; they wouldn't send a $.50 part without proof of damage on a brand new ~$950.00 purchase (it's less expensive now). It also didn't bode well for the quality of their parts. Putting it together was quick and easy and, after charging the battery overnight, I operated it around my neighborhood and was impressed. The only (non)issue was that the battery wouldn't drain quickly enough to put it through the four to five charging cycles they recommended to optimize the battery! After arriving at the resort I unpacked the scooter to find that the cover for the headlight switch was missing and not to be found. Strike two. The scooter was definitely appreciated during our week together, by me and my family. There was one issue though, that came very close to being a problem. My brother and I traveled several blocks to a restaurant which, according to the battery indicator, didn't even drain the battery halfway. So it was an unpleasant surprise on the way back to see the indicator flashing red, indicating that the battery was almost fully drained. It literally died while entering the elevator at the resort and had to be pushed back to the room. I used the scooter a few times after returning home, but then disconnected the battery and parked it. I needed it just this week and connected the charger to top off the battery before using it again. After a few hours of charging the indicator on the charger, and then on the scooter, showed a full charge. However, as soon as I started to drive the scooter the battery indicator fell off to almost nothing and the scooter died. I repeated the charge and operate routine several more times but it barely made any difference, the battery would not hold a charge. I contacted Vive today to report this and was told that, because the six month warranty had expired two weeks ago, they would not replace the battery, and would not offer any accommodation other than a 5% discount on their already overpriced batteries. They also told me that they recommend putting it on the charger at least twice a week. That little snippet isn't mentioned anywhere in the manual and it's not even necessary when a battery is disconnected from any load. It's worth mentioning that other companies offer a one year warranty on their batteries. It's also worth noting that, in a time when everything seems to be going up in price this has gone down significantly. Why? So, with better customer support, and perhaps better quality parts, this could be a worthwhile purchase because, when it was working it performed well. ... show more
