I don't typically like to give 5 stars, but I am seriously so pleased with this box. It's easy to clean, minimizes litter scatter, and looks great. The vents on top keep the box from smelling. I have a VERY particular cat who will only use a litter box under perfect conditions, and she has only peed outside the box once in the two months of using it (used to be almost a daily occurrence before this box). I don't use the door, but that's just my cat... but I love the idea of a one-way exit over the grate. I have not had any of the leaking issues others warned about, but all three of my cats (1 female, 2 males) have been fixed and don't spray. ... show more

This litterbox is a huge improvement over open trays. Our cat only uses the top opening and when he leaves, most litter goes back into the box through the grate. 90 percent reduction in tracking. A few minor things to know - reaching in through the top to scoop out waste (especially from corners) takes a bit of maneuvering especially if you're a big guy. I'm pretty small and I still have to twist my arm around to get the edges. My only other minor thing is that there are little slots and openings on the inside where the top and the bottom attach. Litter gets stuck in there and if you have a high-pee-er, it might leak between the seams. It hasn't been an issue for us. Overall, I completely recommend this! Plus it's cute! ... show more

Very easy to assemble, and a good size! I did end up leaving off the front flap, my kittens were just to scared to use the litterbox with the flap on, but other than that, we've had no issues. And the enclosure as certainly cut down on stray litter. We did have one issue though. The kittens were playing on top, and one got her toe caught in the grill. Truthfully, I have no idea how she managed it, but her scream while she flailed around and tried to get free was heartbreaking. I ended up putting a thick towel folded up on top to protect little toes in the future. It would be really nice if it had a pad or something to make the top more solid instead of the mesh grill. ... show more

Even at 17, she uses the top to get in and out...and I think she likes it. The top comes off easily to clean if needed. And the top catches 90% of the litter on her feet. Fits the area perfectly. Was easy to assemble and breaks down if needed. Comes with scoop that hangs off and a brush for the litter on the top that's left behind. Great product! ... show more

It’s a great cat litter box, soo cute and I love the design. I bought a litter mat because it is not leak proof, the mat helps catch the scattered litter. The only thing is that I wish the pan that holds the litter was deeper. Compared to the last litter box I had, I never had to worry about my cats waste getting stuck to the bottom of the pan. Alsooo the litter scooper has pretty big holes, not all my cats waste is big, sometimes it’s broken into pieces and they fall through the scooper. ... show more

My cat had been having accidents in our bedroom outside of her litter box to where she was consistently pooping in her cat bed even when she had access to her litter box. After thoroughly washing her bedding and giving her a new litter box for our bedroom, the problem was solved immediately! I was initially hesitant to get a litter box for the bedroom because I didn't want it to smell. The design of this litter box does a great job at blending in with the room and containing the smell, while also not getting litter all over the carpet. As long as I scoop it every day or other day I don't notice any smell at all, and my cat really likes the litter box! The media could not be loaded. It’s cute, it’s roomy… and it’s MESSY! May work for some but I’m not down for the way it worked me. I will say the quality of the material is great and it comes with the scoop and brush. Literally the only thing is how messy it gets. Other than the one time she hurt her toe in one of the slits, the functionality has been fine, going in the door and jumping out from the top. You may love it!!!
