Very elegant design. Pretty easy to install. Cannot see through this one, only light. It's like privacy bathroom windows.. I will add a peephole, so should be fine but don't want people to come and look inside everytime they at the door :( this was a nice solution. Keep it wet both the film and the window with slight drop of baby soap in a bottle. You need a rubber squeegee. Spray outside too while while smoothing it out, not to damage the film. Moves a lot but its also a good thing, so you can reposition. Install: Cut an inch+ bigger each side, spray, squeegee inside up and down to have it sit in place, then squeegee to the sides, trim in one motion, squeegee out again (keep outside slighly moist), Keep towel to get the water wiped. This was so much easier to install than I had anticipated. Our house has a random window in the hallway that leads to the washroom. Even though it is elevated and you cannot look directly into it it definitely makes guests hesitant to use that toilet. I used this to obscure the window for a sense of privacy. We redid our kitchen cabinets and I wanted to update the glass. These are wonderful. They look like real leaded glass, it's very durable, and it is easy to install. My suggestion is to get the glass very wet then smooth out with a credit card (or squeegee if you have one). Definitely invest in an x-acto knife to cut it and make sure your blade is plenty sharp. I bought this to cover a window that faces the driveway at my house. It’s opaque enough that it completely blocks the view outside and inside. Even with the lights on at night I couldn’t see in through it at all. From a distance the black lines look like real leaded glass. Application was easy. It’s easy to peel off and retry if it doesn’t work the first time. Just use plenty of water and squeegee all the bubbles out. ... show more

I put these up to give a tavern-y vibe, and these were a great investment. They go up really easily, and come down without any residue since they use static cling. They were up for a few days (hot days, with the sun hitting them), and came off really easily. I'm hoping to reuse next year as well!

This is actually a lot easier to apply than I expected, and the effect is better than I expected too. This took my drab basement windows from ugly to QUITE cute and quaint. Bought these to use on the top of our window over the kitchen sink to block a bad view. We have a canopy over our porch that gets dirty and is hard to clean. Now I don't have to look at it, while the window still lets in plenty of light. Perfect!

This product adds both beauty and privacy to our bedroom windows for way less than new, frosted windows would cost. It is a little tricky to peel and apply, but if you have two people doing it, it is much easier. And the stuff really sticks! Ours has held on through the heat of 110+ degree summer temperatures and the deluge that came when we were hit by a tropical storm. It looks elegant, not cheap.
