The BDF NA05 Daytime Privacy and Heat Rejection Window Film does a fantastic job of providing daytime privacy while noticeably reducing heat from the sun on my southern exposure windows. The film is very dark, which works well in blocking out sunlight, and it's great for keeping my rooms cool without the need for heavy blinds or curtains. I applied it to the windows in my den, and the room is much cooler and darker, which works well for video calls. The Kit has a small squeegee, a razor knife, and a small squirt bottle. Do yourself a favor and purchase straight-edge razor blades, a large squirt bottle, and a bigger squeegee. Use the razor knife to cut your tint from the roll (I broke the blades after every four cuts to keep from tearing tint), and use the straight-edge razors to trim tint when applying to windows. It's essential to take your time to avoid bubbles. Use your squeegee and soap and water mixture to work out bubbles. The results are worth it once the tint is in place and dried. This was our second attempt and pleased with the results. The quality of tint matters, which is why our first attempt failed with a auto store brand. This tint was by far better quality. Directions were easy to follow. Spraying the tint generously while pealing it apart is key, and lots on the window as well. I'm very happy with the BDF NA05 Daytime Privacy and Heat Rejection Window Film I installed on my garage door windows. This film has been a great addition that’s increased privacy and kept the garage cooler during the warmer months. The very dark tint of the BDF NA05 film provides excellent privacy, ensuring my garage activities remain concealed from prying eyes. I now have the peace of mind I was seeking. The door gets a lot of direct sunlight from morning to early afternoon and my garage would get very warm. This film effectively blocks out a significant amount of heat, keeping my garage cooler and more comfortable, even on the sunniest days. The installation process was straightforward and hassle-free. The instructions were clear, and the film was easy to apply anyone so long as they follow the instructions. So far the film has held up beautifully, with no signs of peeling, bubbling, or discoloration. I'm hopeful it will continue to perform well for years to come. I watched the manufacturers installation video and followed the instructions. Easy installation. Use lot of spray bottle water so the product will not stick to itself if it happens to fold or roll back on itself during installation. I installed it in our garage windows, which face west in So. This film works great!! We have to abide by HOA guidelines, and a few other products we tried all had a "mirrored' effect from the outside, which was a no go according to the HOA. This film does not have a shine from the outside, and blocks out the direct sun very well from the inside, and still gives plenty of visibility looking out.
