I bought this item hoping to use it to finish my miniature terrain pieces (40k Battle Sisters themed sanctuary ruins) and to simulate stained glass windows. Part of what I liked about this specific product was the smaller/tighter designs so that it still looked like stained glass windows all the way down to the 32mm scale that it was to represent. With that said, I happened to also have a thin window in my dining room that was just a foot over floor height that always left our home a bit more "exposed" than I wanted (city home) and used a section of this for that window, and it instantly made the window private, but retained it's ability to light in to the room, and it was such a wonderful "bonus" given why I bought the item in the first place. So while this review was more about why I specifically bought it, the products real intent was to be used in a window, and since I have since done that with the extra I still had leftover, I can assert that as long as the design fits your desire, you will be satisfied with its results. The only thing one might be inclined to complain about is installation, but only if you neglect to acknowledge that there is a protective clear sheet that needs to be removed before attempting to apply it to a window, and starting the removal of this film can be frustrating until you figure out a method that works for you, but once that is accomplished, installation becomes an easy process, and instantly transformative! I plan to get more, and different designs as I have a few more windows I would like to "obscure" with something prettier than what is visible out of them.... while retaining much of the natural light that comes in through them! ... show more

Used this on my vehicle's sunroof to help block the sun without having to close the cover. So far stays great through hot summer and sub zero winter temps. The 'out' side does have a texture to it, so may be an issue with holding dust etc making it more difficult to clean depending on where you place it. Easy install. ... show more

Beautiful but will eventually fall off. Updating my review to say this is a stand up company. I did not request a refund but they saw my review and offered it. Product I still give one star, however the seller gets five stars.

I bought this to put in my garage window. It lets light into the garage and gives an amazing design when the light hits it. It also doesn’t allow people to look into my garage windows. Cute it to size and clean your windows well. Then spray your window and get it really wet. Peel the backing off half way and put it where you want it. Start on the top and work down. Then slowly peel the rest of the back off. I used a rubble scraper to get the bubbles out. ... show more

Darker than pictured so it does offer privacy but not a lot of light in so it does not give the look pictured or desired. Went up with ease but started coming off within 24 hours on freshly cleaned windows.

It is very pretty and thick but I purchased it to stick to the sky light in my camper shower. It wouldn't stick to it. I taped it up there though. I was disappointed. I'm not sure how good it would actually do in the camper on glass either. '
