WOW. NOT cheap. But worth it. HD9, oleophobic (oil and grease repellant, I can't leave a fingerprint when I try), a thin layer of SOMETHING, cleaning and prep kit. Read the instructions. DO NOT skip steps. You WILL be pleased. There is 1 GLASS sheet, with backing to preserve electrostatic cling until application. Skip the physics, just get one and do it. NO glue, it clings. During prime day we scored a fire tablet for our 1 year old so she can stop beating up her brothers to take theirs. I didn’t really shop for this it was just one of the first choices and it works well. It was very easy to install. I love the makeshift hinges it makes it pretty exact when you flip it on the tablet. This was exactly what I was after for my daughter's tablet. Since she's almost 6, I was worried about her dropping it and breaking it but this seems to do the trick as far as toughening the screen up. Very happy with the instructions, it was easy to install, and I'm very happy.

Ordered one for my 7 & my 8. Going to post the 7 pic here. Was easy to do. AND the 7 has a crack in top left Corner. Can only see the crack now in certain lights. Pics will show this. Easy to install. Just be patient & push our air pockets. I did have to spend more time ( a few times ). Pushing air away from crack at top left edge. But seriously? That’s because it’s cracked!! And now that crack is protected!!!! Wish I’d done this years ago on ALL kindles. Now I’m ordering one for my sons read only kindle. ... show more

    • Supplies to install screen made it impossible!
Installing this was a joke. I have put tempered screen protectors on tablets, phones of all shapes and this one was rediculous! The microfiber cloth left an insane amount of dust all over the screen. Then the dust sticker after barely touching the screen adhered and left sticky stuff all over the screen. I have never been thru this installing a screen. I had to take it off so many times and still ended up with a couple pieces of dust under the screen but I refuse to take it off and try again. They seriously need to pay attention to the install supplies because they ones that came with mine made it impossible to get it on clean. Seriously frustrated and disappointed. ... show more

Wow! This was so easy to put on my 2017 All-New Fire 7! It usually takes me several tries, but the tools that came in the box made it so easy! I especially appreciated the Guide stickers! It came with three guide stickers, cleaning wipe, drying wipe, micro-fiber cloth, a dust-absorber! Everything I needed was included. It came with written instructions and two videos are available on YouTube showing how to install. It also was extremely easy to adhere to my device...in the correct location the first time due to the Guide Stickers! That's a first for me! I was also able to get all the dust off before applying it! Love it! ... show more

Over the years I have installed quite a few screen protectors, but this was by far one of the easiest I've ever installed. It comes with a nice little install kit that includes a cleaning cloth and everything you need for a perfect installation. The flap made it go on in exactly the right location and I had no bubbles.     • Not completely satisfied, but not a bad screen protector
The screen protector feels very thick and comes in very protective packaging. I had trouble with the installation even with following the instructions when it have to the "dust absorber" sticker. The sticker left some sticky residue on the screen and I had to reclean the screen to get it off, first application there wear two specks of dust under the screen resulting in two bubbles on the screen. I read the description and video on removing bubbles and reinstallation but unfortunately after reapplication the edge where I lifted the screen from wouldn't adhere back but the case I have on it protects it from peeling from the edge and the screen portion is free of bubbles after reinstall. I emailed to register for their lifetime warranty so hopefully the cost of this protector is worth it if I can get replacements. ... show more
