My 2 year old spent the past 3 months screaming from his crib until we rescued him from his torture chamber. He would them proceed to run around our living room and dining room until he passed out on the floor around 1:30am nightly. We added folded blankets underneath him to try to make him more comfortable. Well this mama had a great idea. He may hate the crib, and he falls off of toddler beds, so a dog bed would be perfect for him! Of course we call it his special bed and if anyone questions why we have a dog bed for him I tell them I have no clue what they're referring to. Fast forward to the bed arriving. The baby was so excited for his special bed and fell asleep in his bed in his room seamlessly the first night. Of course that was just too good to be true, and sometimes he cried and wants to come downstairs or to out room, but the great thing is that it's portable. No more chasing him around to 1:30am. We just bring the bed near us and he crawls in and goes to sleep. Our household is getting so much more sleep thanks to this "special" bed! I do find that the bolsters near the head of the bed drooped a bit, but it works for our purposes. The mattress is also very comfortable and my 4 year old and 10 year olds love to hang out on it too. Every home of young human children should purchase a "special" bed. This has been one of my best ideas of the year. And hopefully my toddler will never know the truth! 😂 ... show more

This bed is fantastic! Once taken out of the box and the foam is put into the cover, it takes about 2-3 hours to settle into its proper shape, and then it's perfect! No weird smell or anything. Nice and thick - the dogs say that this is incredibly comfortable! When cuddling, up to 4 medium sized retrievers fit well on this bed, and it's also big enough for one dog to stretch her legs as far as she wants! They also really appreciate the headrest that goes around the border of the bed. Retriever approved! ... show more

So I bought this for my 68lb pittie mix Brie. Other soft fluffy beds flatten out. I have hardwood floors and I could tell it was uncomfortable for my baby girl. This is real memory foam....Not the egg crate fluff they try to convince you of. Excellent!!! I bought the 36 in because I felt the 44 in would be overkill in my bedroom. She likes to sleep near my clothes by my closet so I felt the mid range size would be more appropriate. Either way, I love to hear her snore which she did the moment she got in it. The boosters are pointless (flimsy), but she rests her head on them for now. Seems very easy to wash and came with a cover for the memory foam. Overall, I’m satisfied and I’m picky. I may get the 44 inch at another time, but for now, this seems comfortable for her. ... show more

We purchased beds to fit the base that we built for Our two pups. They are 1 years old and have a history of chewing their beds. It’s been 1 month and no chewing, just enjoying their beds. The quality is amazing, easy to wash, and the thickness is great for our 70lb babies. There were some reviews that complained about the stability of the sides. No issue here, the material is stiff enough to keep its shape but comfortable enough for our dogs to rest in comfort. Would highly recommend 10 out of 10 for price, quality and material. ... show more

I bought this bed with my older dogs, 9 and 12, in mind. The 12 year old has some serious orthopedic issues. This bed is very nice. The foam is thick and supportive. The material is soft and the bed seems well made. I like that both the foam and bolster inserts are covered in protective casing in case of a spill or accident. The bed is easy to disassemble and reassemble. It also seems to wash well. I also like that there is a lowered edge to allow them to enter so they don't need to jump into the bed as they age. The biggest downside is that the bolsters are not thickly padded. Not a huge issue for me as my dogs prefer to cuddle up to the sides. If they wanted to use it as a pillow, it's not that supportive. It's also a fairly firm bed for small dogs. Mine are 18, 19, and 25 pound cocker spaniels. They don't really sink into it the way they do an egg foam/orthotic base and they don't like it. They've voluntarily slept on it less than 10 times in the 3 months we've owned it. They're shoving each other out of the way for the privilege of sleeping in the soft bed I brought home yesterday. So, this bed will be looking for a new home since my dogs don't use it. ... show more

Solid 4 stars! The only dislike is the pillow top boarder, its pretty flimsy compared to their old serta. Overall it's a great bed, if the next version/redesign in the can have more thicker/supported sides...... I'll be all over it!

Recv'd this bed, and maybe should have gotten the next size larger. This measures 30" wide, after you subtract the measurement of the sides , you lose about 3 1/2 ".in width. The only problem with that is, I placed this in the bedroom and I thought the larger size would be too large for the room. Our fur baby does fit in this bed, laying down, so I think when she gets used to it, all will be fine. If she feels she needs more room, we have a larger one in the family room and since she sometimes leaves the bedroom during the night, this is the bed she goes to. All in all, the bed is good, thick, memory foam, and will be perfect when the weather gets cooler. All components come off in order to launder so will be great. ... show more
