I bought this for my friend who has a little one on the autism spectrum. He's getting a new therapy dog so I thought this would be a good way for them to bond and cuddle. What I didn't expect was how much everyone else would would enjoy it. It's so adorable that you can't not smile when you look at it. The outer fabric is soft and fluffy like shag carpeting. The set includes a pillow and a blanket in similar fabric in coordinating colors. The inside is soft enough to be comfortable, but firm enough to give you plenty of support. He really likes the texture of the fur and he's a little coldnatured so he loves how warm and cozy it can be. It's truly adult sized so it was a little difficult to move around at first. This is a kid and dog favorite in the house but I had to add some extra cushion to make it more comfortable there is plenty of room to do so. The blanket and pillow that comes with it are really meant for a small child it seems

It arrived 3 days ago and after experiencing it, I have to say that this is a really good human dog bed. It is very comfortable, lying inside is very soft, and the complimentary pillow is really just right. To be honest, sleeping directly on the bolster is a bit of pressure on my neck, but with this pillow, everything has become perfect!!! This blanket is also very smooth, and I used it after cleaning. If I had to describe it, this blanket alone is worth over $30.I originally purchased this product for myself, but what's troubled me is that my Labrador also loves it very much. The moment I put it on floor, my baby jumped in. Okay, I have to tell you, I have to squeeze in with it now. I received a cardboard box entirely wrapped in strips of clear packing tape. Inside was a red sack with a cotton drawstring that looked dirty. The stuff inside were shrink wrapped blanket, a shrink wrapped shaggy thing, a metal comb, and a hard shrinkwrapped but also wrapped in a lot of clear packing tape wound all over the odd triangular dark blue fabric covered blob. I could not open this blob. I noticed dirt on the surface like white dust. the piece I was able to pry up with great difficulty felt like it had stuffing that had gotten wet qnd so clumped and dried into a hard mass, separated by another clump which was in a blog I couldnt separate. The other items are also hard clumps. I think this product was used and somehow became wet in the box, so that is why the shipping box was covered in clear packing tape. I will not use this product as it was shipped to me used, dirty, once wet and dried into impossible set of hard blobs. ... show more

Update well after few months only being used 4 times the zipper on the cover for the cushion bed is broken and so my grandkids can use the human bed anymore I am very disappointed I will contact the company to see if the can resend a replacement Larger, very comfortable Packaging was perfect I had nothing to put together opened and it was together I washed it and came out perfectly The really test will be how it holds up with teen grandkids I will update in few months ... show more

Love the bed, dogs love the bed! But within a day the price drop substantially called customer service they refused to give my account a credit for the difference.
