Our 4 year old German Shepherd needed a ner bed for her crate. She is never locked in but rather uses it as her den when she needs some chill time without humans. This is the first crate bed she has immediately loved out of the box. She hasn't tried to rearrange/clump/fold it like she has with all others. The 4 inch thickness seems to be perfectly comfortable for her. She loves it so much she has gone in to lay on it while she would usually be on her big bed in front of the coffee table. I bought two of these, and was pleased my dogs liked them; but one of my adolescent dogs, now 9 months old, is tearing the latest one apart, as he did, the first one. He has torn up several other dog beds & toys. I may rename him “Jaws” if he keeps it up! For anyone with NORMAL dogs, this is a great dog bed, appears very comfortable; all four of my dogs use it. It’s large enough for big dogs, and my smaller 28 lb Aussie/heeler mix is sleeping on it now. (My dogs move from place to place, kind of like “musical chairs,” as I could use another dog bed—or two—but hesitate, for financial reasons, knowing no replacement bed will survive long!) Fortunately the stuffing is an innocuous white polyester fluff—which is accumulating on my floor like a low layer of so many cirrus clouds….OK, if you like that look! ... show more
