I loved the look of this knife set until they started to rust on week 3! They were hand washed and dried and were not put in the dishwasher!

So look, these are $80. Compare that to the same set from cutco which is $1200. So, we all know you get what you pay for. Lets not go expecting something high quality and heavy. That being said, these do the trick. Mine came what looked like USED though. Cant be 100% sure, but a few of the handles were scratched leading me to believe this. The blades were fine. I washed them well, and am going to look past it. One thing to note: In my second pic, that haze look is actually wood dust from the block. Once putting the knife in and pulling it back out, there was the dust. Just be cautious. Pay attention. Overall, so far, a good set for the price. Edit: After looking at the white ones, they are actually made differently from the silver knives. They look better in the sense that there isn't a gap where water can get into where the handle meets the blade. Its molded better/differently than the silver knives which I find is odd. ... show more

I love the look of these and they cut very well too. Just make sure to FOLLOW CARE INSTRUCTIONS TO HAND WASH and DRY THEM PROMPTLY - otherwise they like other knives will rust. The built in sharpener is fabulously helpful.

The worst knives I have ever bought. I got these in March, they are already rusted. I wash them by hand right after use and dry them. However no matter how much you dry them the handles leak water. The handles are also crooked, they are not lined right, and not smooth, they have sharp pieces along the handle. Im assuming this is beacuse they are crooked and not placed right. So when you hold them they feel off and rough/sharp. I think dollar store knives might even be better then these to be completely honest. ... show more
