Not only does this provide adequate air flow and ventilation in each room, but I've noticed I've turned my thermostat up by a full 2-3 degrees throughout the apartment and maintained just as cool of an environment--this is saying a lot, as I live in Orlando, FL.     • Excellent quality
I have this 4 stars because it really slowed down my fan. Granted it is a Home Depot budget model but the difference in speed was significant. The adhesive is very strong and the product is very thick and durable which may make it too heavy for low power fans.

    • A tiny help on up-flow air.
I really wanted these to be amazing but they are not for up-flow air movement. For down-flow they help but not all that much. Also they do not go the length of the blade. I really wanted these to be amazing but they are just so-so. Tiny improvement but don't expect much.

    • These don’t work and will damage your fan
These did not increase my wind flow at all. These have actually somehow decreased my airflow. Before, the fan had a good output and would broadcast all over the entire room. With the fan dam, it has actually succeeded in slowing my fan down and has made the wind only come out in areas in areas directly below the fan. Let’s not forget that IF you even try to remove these, they will take the finish straight off of your fan blades. These have actually ruined a perfectly good fan. So now, I have paid for this product and ruined a $250 fan. ... show more

This is such a great and clever product! We purchased Fan-Dam to put on our lanai fan and it works so well. It keeps us cool during these warm Florida nights. Would highly recommend if you are looking to energize your fan without having to install a new one.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to install and not expensive. Slows the fan down a bit but did slightly improve the breeze. I wanted to upload two videos (before and after) but only one allowed.
