The fan was really easy to install. All the parts are clearly marked and the instructions are clear. If you've ever installed a ceiling fan, this is a breeze. I didn't even have to balance the blades. I love the low profile since I have a low ceiling in my dining room. The fan looks really nice, not cheap. I run it mostly on low. I did replace my dimmer wall switch as it created a buzz in the motor. After installing a standard switch, the buzz disappeared. ... show more

I was skeptical it would be much good for the low price and sure enough, it’s made in china but really, it’s well made and the directions written in good English with good pictures! Like the others have commented, it runs very quiet and the blade balancer kit was a nice touch though mine doesn’t need it. No wobble! My only concern is the wiring is very small gauge and the wire connector nuts provided are junk. I reused my old ones. It’s fine, just don’t use an old school 100 watt incandescent bulb.
