It is not an overstatement to say this device simply works !!! After going through multiple steroid injections, CESI and months of physical therapy, nothing helped to alleviate my shoulder and neck pain. In just 2 sessions of 20 minutes, I have felt significant improvement and reduction of pain and have higher degree of movement and rotation in the affected area of my body. The device is well built, packaged in professionally protective storage box, and is simple to use. It comes with preset recommended values for different parts of the body and the touchscreen menu is simple and intuitive even a child can apply the therapy. Get the PSP20 as it is the pro-sumer version and the price is within reach of most home users. I finally have a better quality of life after almost 2 years of pain. The only thing I suggest for improvement is to include an integrated bottle with the drain tubing to catch excess water produced by the internal compressor. As a makeshift, I drill a small hole in a water bottle cap and insert the drain tubing to catch any water (as seen my the picture). So far no drainage water has been produced after 2 sessions. Overall, very satisfied and is looking for the next few sessions (one session every 3 days is recommended). Time will tell about the longevity and durability of this device. ... show more

Received my PSP-20 today and put it to work immediately! I cannot believe how fast this therapy made a lot of my aches and pains go away! Very impressed with the unit and accessories. I opted for the PSP-20 instead of the PSP-15 because of the accessories and functions. I am looking forward to a pain free future with this unit. Knees, hip and all the aches and pains that come with old age! (ha, ha) Great customer service and something that is rare nowadays. Jennie even responded at night and that is unbelievable! I can feel comfortable knowing if something goes wrong, I will be taken care of. Update: After using this machine about a week, I am truly impressed that it delivers this technology so effectively. Most of my chronic and acute pains have subsided immensely! Believe me, I tried every remedy under the sun and while many worked, none has been more successful and immediate than shockwave therapy. The media could not be loaded. I’m a healthcare provider currently using this to cater to athletes for MSK injuries and provide improved ROM and pain relief. This is a great treatment option that is not invasive with proven results. It has Frequency range of 1-21 (most treatments can be done at 5-8 depending on which areas) and with Level up to 8 (most treatments can be done at 5-8, or less depending on pt tolerance). Frequency is amount of palpation per minute and Level is the strength (how “hard” the thumps) of treatment. It is plug and play. Press the “play” button on the screen first, then, press the button on the blue “gun.” Super easy. The machine itself is with a hum to allow air to circulate in the machine. The blue “gun” does have a ticking sound, and patients can always use a disposable ear plugs if the ticking sound bothers them (most do not mind). The machine itself comes with a very nice big black box with handles at opposite sides. The blue “gun” comes with a silver case with extra equipment for maintenance. The machine itself does have a solid holder for the gun as well. The video shows simple operations, max and min of frequency and level, and how to push start the blue “gun.” It also have the sound of the ticking of the “gun” and humming of the machine. The back is where the on and off master switch also, demo at the end of the video. For additional help with machine hardware and cleaning/maintenance, PerVita is your go to. They are super responsive and provide timely help with emailing them directly. Super helpful. Overall, with the machine operation, proven pain relief from patient experience, and PerVita help in a timely manner, this is a great machine and safe purchase. ... show more

I've been using thePSP20 machine for about 2 months. I know it wasn't mentioned in the manual, but I'm trying it on numbness in my feet. The only symptom is numbness in the toes. So far I don't see enough difference to determine if it's working. I will continue to use it twice a week for 20-minute sessions. I'm also trying it on a shoulder problem. I have arthritis in the joint and that may be causing some muscle soreness. I'm using the machine twice a week for 20 minute sessions. I do think it has helped the muscle soreness. The muscle soreness is mostly gone, but I will continue to use it until the soreness is completely gone. ... show more

I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and did a lot of research on which radial shockwave therapy units would best meet the needs of my clients. This Pervita unit matches or beats the competition in every category including some that retail for more the 5 times the cost. The unit is high quality, comes with a durable storage/travel case, all the maintenance tools needed to keep it running well and is easy to operate. The built-in protocols are a bit generic but if you do your homework you can customize the treatments as need to best meet your patient's needs. Caution, the unit is heavy so you will want a very sturdy cart. Thankfully they also sell one. Customer support has replied to all inquiries within 1-2 business days and never left a question unanswered. It would be nice if the touch screen were a bit more touch sensitive (especially with gloves on) and I would have liked to see a storage rack for the treatment heads directly attached to the unit but these are small inconveniences. In conclusion, for the price point you can't beat this unit, there is not one overt downsides and I have seen the same excellent results with this unit as the demonstration units I used costing five times more. ... show more
