So this came in one day , packing was very nice , and the hose came with extra washers , wall hose holder , and shut off valve at the end , plus a multi purpose spray nozzle. I connected it to my hose bib by hand only , turned it on and not any leaks anywhere. Hose grew in length and width , and then when off and a spray it went back to a smaller size. I needed a nice rough pretty hose for my front garden. It needed to be mailable and easy to work with. This was perfect. Can maneuver nicely store away when finished. Thin but not overly. Easy to bend and pull. Comes with a sprayer which is nice and multiple washers. The only issue I had was some leakage when installing. I used many washers as it didn’t stop it. Not sure if it’s the hose or our spout. The size is correct so I’m unsure. We got it down to a small drip when the water is on. It’s a nice true black. I’m pretty gold tone brass fittings. Feels durable and nice. We have it tucked behind a bush so it’s not laying in the sun but I am unsure if this will heat quick due to the color. It’s a great hose with many functions on the spray. Easy to work with and a great length. I have had it installed for a month now and we will see come summer. We use it very often and that will be the test. Water pressure is great as well. Comes out perfect. Very light weight which is so important as well. Especially in a small space which makes me have to carry it at times. Update 5/12/24. After a few months the hose still works no issues there but the rubber coating has literally started to peel away from the hose. Almost throughout the whole hose. It looks like you took a lighter and burned holes through the hose. You can see what’s under the rubber. It hasn’t been hot and it’s not even summer yet. This hose definitely will not last the warmer months. It’s only a matter of time. I will post the pics of this. It’s creepy looking it like a pattern of holes throughout the rubber and you can see the white hose underneath. I’m so upset. Not even really a lot of use as it’s only been 70-80 for a month or two every two weeks or so. It’s sad. It great equality material. The hose and the idea was great but the rubber or what shkd be rubber is thin and eats away quick. The hose is even covered by the side of the house so it’s not even exposed to the elements like that. Very disappointed because come summer I’m going to need another hose again. ... show more

    • Okay but not as expandable as expected
This hose works fine as, well, a hose. It does expand, but nowhere near twice the length in my experience. I've tried it a few times, and it doesn't expand enough to reach all the way across my patio, even though it's way more than halfway before I turn on the water. It's flexible and easy to maneuver, but I'm disappointed in the expanding. ... show more

I can loop this around the faucet when not in use because of its light weight, but don’t be fooled - this hose can stand up to any task I’ve given it! Primarily, I use this with my Harbot Freight pressure washer because it has a very handy on/off lever I can use instead of running back and forth to the faucet. First time I used it, hubby and our son scoffed at my “too short” hose. They went away impressed by the expansion capability of my genius find. This outdoor expandable water hose is a perfect length and have a great spraying capacity!!! This hose is very durable and is made out of excellent material!! Its leakproof and is kink proof!!!     • Great for Very Light-Duty Work in a Small Area
We have an area where people like to rinse their feet after coming off the beach, and the expandable-type hoses have typically been favored because they shrink-up out of the way when they're not being used, so I ordered this one to test. Even though I gave it 4 Stars (mainly because it's a good value for light-duty washing or watering at the current price of $25) this expandable hose does not feel as rugged as its fabric-coated counterparts. I imagine this best being used in a small area where someone wants a very light, flexible hose for light-duty use and who is willing to remember to turn it off each time at the spigot end. Pros: Good price, Comes with a Hose Nozzle, Hose nozzle works well, Comes with a Brass Shut-off Valve, Very Very Flexible and Light, Comes with a Hose holder, Comes with Extra Rubber Washers.     • Comes with good accessories
The accessories included add to the value. I like the valve so that you can easily and quickly change sprayers . I dont really like that the inside diameter of the hose restricts water flow as much as it does. If you are just using it for short reach and want a lightweight flexible hose that is hard to kink. Then this could be a good choice. As far as "Expandable" the hose will swell slightly and will get a little bit longer when it is pressurized, so it does expand, but other hoses that advertise expandable will grow significantly in length when pressurized. ... show more
