This is our second hose from the same manufacturer. The first one is already 2 years old and probably the best hose we ever had and we use it daily in summer season. It is very solid but light weight so you don’t feel like fighting with it. It never kinks and it’s so easy to maneuver around the garden. We love it so much that we ordered one for our front yard. The second one unfortunately somehow separated on metal coils and ruptured after only 2 months of use however, customer service was on it and quickly responded with offer to send us a replacement in a few days. Our 1972 home had an outside spiggot on either side. One spigot is operational, so the other is left with the brunt of water provision. With a multi-hose adapter, we are able to attach 2 hoses, one for each the back and front yards. With 2 100 foot hoses, we can reach around the entire house. Of all the water hoses I have purchased over several decades, these are THE BEST, bar none. They are lightweight, maneuverable, and do not kink. We have several potted fruit trees and vegetables that demand water at least once a day in our Florida location. Our pool water evaporates a bit each day and needs replenishment a couple of times each month. We have also purchased the identical hoses for our North Florida farm, Papa's grass-fed beef. You can only imagine the utility we receive and expect from these necessary and invaluable hoses! They are (so far) indestructible, and worth every penny spent. They coil well and are unobtrusive. I had to convince my husband of their practicality since we have purchased "industrial" hoses previously on many occasions. None are even close in comparison. Do yourself a favor and buy your "forever" hose now. 5 stars! ... show more

It looks “funny” to me but this seems to be a great hose. I’m hopeful the metal will hold up better than plastic with the sun and salt it sees in my area. I’m surprised the hose is not stiff, I think it is even more flexible than a plastic hose. The hose is light, compact (on a reel it is only a little larger than a normal 25” hose) and seems to work well. I didn’t measure flow but it seems to be the same as with that 25” hose. The included spray head is OK, a good, powerful “pencil” setting and a fair range of broad sprays. No leaks from either end with easy, hand tight tightening of the hose, they even included an extra rubber washer. ... show more

this is a hose for our deck which is about 25 ‘ from ground level……. i have hanging and other pots of plants which i need access to a watering hose. because i only need 25’ to cover, i have been purchasing the expanding hoses. every year i have to replace them— they either spring a leak in the body or at the ends where the fittings are. this year we decided to try this metal hose which offers brass fittings at either end….. the only thing i wish were different is that it came with one of the nozzles that offer the dials where you can select type of water stream that comes. the nozzel with it, only has a stream and i will be replacing it with a multi choice nozzel. the metal casing around the hose seems very flexible and fits soo well into the flower pot where its stored……. we’ve only had it about 1-1/2 months, but i am happy with the quality of the fittings , and especially with how nice the metal “tubing” looks and works. it is not heavy, but also not flimsy……. I am thinking of replacing the regular hose I use in my greenhouse area as it’s so nice to not have to drag a long hose around, and then deal with wrapping a long hose up….. definitely a good choice. My wife bought several of those hoses that expand when in use. They work for a couple of months and then the leaks come which are not repairable. Found this hose and was concerned that the hose would be HOT during the summer in AZ 'cause it is outside all the time. Not bad at all. No problem with handling the hose. Not getting burnt and it's lasting alot longer than those flimsy hoses. ... show more

My Rosy Earth metal garden hose developed a leak inside the metal covering. Hose is 8 months old and cannot be repaired. Contacted the company (Rosy Earth) and they immeadiately sent me a new 75ft hose replacement. Did not have to send the leaking hose back.
