Have had the hose for 5 wreks now.. Great hose for 3/4 & 100ft. Doesn't kink easily. Light and stands up well to AZ heat. I also have the 5/8 50ft and 5/8 75ft and they are also great. If someone is kinking these hoses they must be trying very hard to do so.

After a lot of research and reading, I purchased this hose to use in a horse barn. I needed something heavy-duty but not super stiff and a hose that would not collapse/flatten when no water pressure was in the hose. And with no plastic fittings. I am very happy with this hose. Pros: The color makes it VERY easy for everyone to see. It is not on the ground where the horses can step on it most of the time, but they can see it. While the color was startling to them at first, they checked it out and then walked away and have not given it a thought since. The first thing I did after unpacking the hose was put it out in the sun. I had read several reviews that the hose was difficult to manage because it wanted to return to its original shape. I have not found this to be a problem. After letting the hose sit in the morning sun for about 2 hours, I unwound the hose to make it straight and then was able to position the hose where I needed it in the barn, and get it connected to the water hydrant. I followed the instructions enclosed as far as pressurizing the hose when I was ready to use it and things went very well. No problems at all. The hose is large so carries a lot of water through it very quickly. I am able to blast water tanks while cleaning them and then refill them very fast. The hose is a bit on the heavy side as far as carrying all 100 feet in my arms but I wanted a heavy-duty hose and I got exactly what I hoped for. I don't have to move all 100 feet around at one time so the weight is not a problem for me. I have other heavy duty hoses that are truly heavy and don't bend well, but they have held up for many, many years around horses and through Michigan winters but I can't buy that hose anymore. I do not use hoses in the winter but they do live outdoors in storage. The hose does maintain some memory as far as some coiling back up, what hose does not, but I have found the hose very easy to use, really like the color, appreciate how much water can move through it in a short period of time, have not had any trouble with the hose going flat with no water pressure in it, and have not seen any signs of the hose going flat when it goes around a corner. I am very happy with this hose and hope to get years of use out of it with proper care on my part. ... show more

This is my third flexzilla hose. This is my third one because I needed more length. The first two are 50ft each; I combined them and still needed more so I got this 100-ft to add on. The hoses are lightweight - but the longer they are, the heavier they are of course. If you are concerned about weight, I suggest getting a couple of shorter ones and connect them, rather than one longer one. Only use the second one as an extension when you need it, and only carry one at a time. My 70+ yr old mother saw my two 50-ft's and bought two 25-ft's herself (for weight reasons as described above). My tree guy used my 50-ft and asked what it was and where I got it. Best hose ever, hands down. ... show more

I never bought a hose before in my life, so I took the advice of a neighbor and bought this. It works great, is very durable and well made, but also very heavy (I am petite). I needed help getting it unrolled and in place, but now that it's set up I can use it on my own.     • WORST GARDEN PURCHASE I EVER MADE!

This is a nightmare hose. Open the box and try to stretch it out across your driveway and you get a kink every foot. No exaggeration. And we are talking about kinks so tight they are almost impossible to get straightened out-----even with the hose running (which should have helped!). I spent 45 minutes today trying to uncoil it and straighten out the kinks. I managed to get the 100' hose stretched out eventually across my yard, and as soon as I moved over to water a plant-----KINK!!!! And no water. Nightmare for a gardener. Add to that is the color----can't blame anyone but myself for the fluorescent green, but it's now hanging on the hose holder on my house and it's so friggin' bright green that it's the only thing your eye sees in the yard. In addition to that, the light color makes it look dirty because of course mulch clings to a hose, so it's incredibly unsightly (I had a dark blue hose before and I'm going back to that). The only good thing about this is that at least the connector is firm and it's not spraying water where it's connected to the faucet. But.....Kinkless? You've got to be kidding. I won't be fighting this for long as I plan to get rid of it ASAP and get a hose that won't have me cussing every time I have to water. ... show more
