This is a nice quality hose, but it's really too short to do much of anything. If you need a short hose, go for it. You won't be disappointed.

Bought this to work with my automatic pool filler. Needed a short hose, so this fit that bill, but wasn't expecting it to have the quality feel it has. It was cheap, but doesn't feel like other cheap hoses I have purchased in the past.     • Hose near the female end of the connector failed within three-days
The female end of the hose, under the plastic sheath, failed after being used for only six-hours a day for three days. The hose split approximately one inch (25 mm) along its length. It was being used to power a misting fan so the water was only being run at 1/4 the normal faucet pressure due to the design of the misting fans water line hook up. Additionally, this hose had a very odd -- and very, very strong -- chemical smell that never faded at all. In fact, the day it arrived I placed it in the garage overnight before taking it outside to feed the misting fan and it took an entire day for the smell to completely dissipate from a 400-square foot garage. I could still detect the chemical odor at the faucet and fan ends on the day it broke. Before it catastrophically failed on me, I had thought it was well made and was actually going to purchase a second, longer one. Perhaps I just got a dud as others seem happy with theirs. Mine was garbage - forcing me to purchase a different hose completely. Pity - the green color was perfect. ... show more

Hose seems to be good quality, but I don't like the hard plastic with no give at the ends. Instead of protecting the hose with a spring or something with give I believe the hose will just kink and eventually break at the end of the plastic.

Our hose bid is very close to the ground and angled downward. This caused our hose to kink and restrict the flow. I used one of these to attach the hose. It's outer spring reinforcement keeps it from kinking. They appear to be well made and sturdy. I only needed one, but now I have a backup, too.
