I read all the 5-star reviews on this product with some skepticism, but upon receiving it today via Amazon Prime, I was at once impressed. The build quality seemed decent, and as someone else wrote, this memory foam product is the 'goldilocks' of seat cushions... not too firm and not too soft. The included elastic belt/buckle/extension units reached around my new executive chair quite easily, and I was able to adjust the height of this cushion to maximize pressure on my lower back area and thus my discomfort whilst sitting evaporated. I shot a couple of pics so you can see how well this product works and how it attaches to your existing chair. I'm not sure how this would work in an AUTOMOBILE seat as they are quite thick and wide, I did not try it in my car. Everlasting Comfort did a nice job packaging this in a plastic bag with a moisture wicking pad, instruction sheet, and lifetime warranty registration (online) instructions. I was impressed, as the manufacturer even gives their email address and invites you to immediately contact them if there are any issues or defects, and they will directly send you a replacement! That's outstanding, tells me they have confidence in their product. For the small price, I think this is a worthwhile purchase, and speaking as a person who is now dealing with daily chronic sciatic and lower back pain, I regard this item as a very good purchase decision on my part and recommend anyone in similar circumstances to try it. Given Amazon's liberal return policy, why not? I didn't even take it out of the plastic bag until I sat in my chair a bit and tried it out. Note that in my photos, a secondary chair pad (purchased here on Amazon) is shown where you 'sit' - that item is from a different memory foam manufacturer well known for their mattresses. The chair itself is also from that same famous memory foam manufacturer, but the chair did not support my lower back at all, even trying every conceivable adjustment on the chair. So this cushion was a Godsend. Mark me a happy camper. ... show more

Purchased for use by an elderly person when transporting via wheelchair. Offers good lumbar support with snap-on/snap-off straps so the product can be used on various chairs/seating. There's also a pair of included extension straps for situations where the chair/seating is extra wide or thick. The fabric cover can be zipped open in order to remove the cushion so that the cover can be washed. I'd recommend this cushion where lumbar support is needed/desired. ... show more

This is great lumbar cushion. I agree with some of the reviews that it is a little too thick. I have it on a standard office chair and it seems to push me forward so that it's a bit uncomfortable sitting. My behind doesn't sit clear on the back on my seat and I feel like I'm being pushed forward. However, I moved the cushion up to the very top of the back of my chair and I am able to sit a bit more comfortably and the cushion still makes me arch my back and that is what my goal was. If I were to put the cushion very low, close to the seat, I wouldn't have room to sit on the seat and would only be perched on the edge. The cushion came with an extender which I did not have to use but I appreciated that it had one. Probably good for gaming chairs. I do plan to use this in my car and would most likely use the extender straps. All in all, I recommend this cushion. I do like the fact that I can take the cover off and wash it. It also looks sleek and professional on the back on my chair. Very nice cushion for the price. ... show more

The color is wonderful and worth the extra $8 I paid so that this pillow would match the office decor. It is incredibly comfortable and super attractive. It comes with instructions for use and for cleaning. Bravo to the designers! The only quarrel I have, and this does not reflect on the manufacturer, but on Amazon, is that it was delivered in a see-through plastic bag, and not protected by either a cardboard box or a thicker plastic envelope. ... show more

I haver this cushion in the chair I sit in a lot at our kitchen counter and it really helps alleviate my mid to low back discomfort. It stays in place well, comes with 2 straps which are highly adjustable. Definitely recommend!

What I like about this pillow is that it is comfortable and adjustable for very large chairs ( driver seat) to normal chairs ( slender back dining room chair ) Example when I first got it. I put it on a normal chair and the straps were way too large for it. It just fell over. Then I realized that you can take off the extra middle strap, and snap it to the another strap to make it smaller. That was really wonderful in discovering that! The only con I would say is that the pillow is very thick. So if you have a normal chair, you will be sitting in the middle of the chair not the back of it. I know that sounds obvious, but it does change things in the way that you sit in the chair. I am a musician and I bought it for playing my instrument. I am having neck problems and my physical therapist is working on better posture with me. My right hand goes numb at times because of my bad posture. Plus I have a very heavy clarinet which sits on my right thumb so I bought a support stick that sits on the chair in between my legs while I play the clarinet. the support stick is barely on the chair because I am sitting so forward on the chair. That is my only con with this chair pad. It is very comfortable as it says, but very thick. I expected it to be half as thick as it was. I will not be returning it as I can use it with some chairs at home , but I will not be using it in every chair, unfortunately. Also Putting it in my car, ( Honda Odyssey ) the seats are too plush and it does not work as I am nearly against the steering wheel if I want my feet to touch the gas pedal. I don’t think it’s very good for driving as you will be too close to the airbag if it goes off. That’s another con. As I said, the cushion is very thick. I think it’s about 4 inches at its largest point. That is quite a substantial amount of cushion. I expected it to be 2-3 inches thick. It really does make a difference in some things.
