Simply amazing! Works like a charm, opens and closes with no problem (manually, fingerprint, passcode, app). Camera is amazing, works great, motion detection is spot on. I can access it from anywhere, unlock from anywhere, watch the camera live and review events from anywhere. Have not tried Alexa integration yet. The battery is great (I have it on "Balance Surveillance") as at the time of this review I installed it two months ago and it still has 53% charge left from the very first time I charged it. Oh, and installation was a breeze, quick and easy. The ONLY feature I didn't know I needed that unfortunately this model is lacking (yes I knew it didn't have it, but didn't think I needed) is the door sensor to lock only when the door is closed and not having to rely on a timer that locks the deadbolt while the door is still open if my time to lock runs out. Not a huge deal breaker as it does not happen often. But hey, autolock timer never fails (as long as your lock is calibrated correctly) and I never have to worry about it not locking. And to add the cherry on top, Anker/Eufy customer service is on another level, just great. ... show more

SO easy to install (the dimensions were perfectly aligned), and the rechargeable battery is great. It's supposed to last a full year with normal usage, but you can also charge it without removing the battery. The keyless entry has added a heightened sense of security. It reads fingerprints perfectly well, and Alexa integration was seamless. The camera (and video quality) is stellar. I also appreciate the manual keys, just in case technology fails at some point. Keeping the keys in the car as a safety net. The chime works exceptionally well, too. This was a SUPER buy, and I'm glad we finally decided to switch to keyless entry.     • Easy Install, Easy to Use, Great Battery Life!!

We wanted to spend a little money on our door lock and chose this brand bc it had a lot more features than a Ring. I love that I can lock/unlock from anywhere in the world! The fingerprint makes carrying groceries and opening your door so easy. The key pad is great for my dog walker and the code is unique to her so the app actually will tell me that “xyz” just unlocked the door and show me a video. The app is super easy to download and set up. The door unit did take us a few minutes to line up to the hole where the lock goes but the actually key part is twist able so you can make the length what you need it to be and install that way. Once we figured that out, it was super easy! Battery lasts about 3 weeks to a month and I charge the batter on a regular c charger. It takes about two hours to fully charge and back in the door I goes! I got the doorbell chime as well and that suck is loud! I can hear it from my basement or even when I’m in the deck. Also your phone goes off and you can actually talk to the person from your phone. We plan to buy the whole security system for our home from this brand. That’s how awesome it is! ... show more

    • Motion Detection was Not Desirable - Since improved (UPDATED 6MO)

This is simply a repeat review from a few others here. Everything is wonderful besides the motion detection. The lock locks and unlocks very quickly. Batter lasts for a few months. No issues with Sub-Zero functionality issues (down to -20). Installation is a breeze. One comment, the deadbolt plate provided is useless for standard doors. The biggest flaw is the software for motion detection. States it has smart AI to detect humans. I think this is another word to cop out of functionality and extend battery life targets. You can walk to the door without detection about 50% of the time. Similar to others, every package delivered on doorstep has never had a single notice or video capture. (5+ deliveries this far). Eufy needs to update the camera software/logic or admit motion detection capabilities. Customers are at the loss for false advertisement of a function sold with the device that does not work.... Even when the camera is set to max settings and "any motion". I truly want to love this smart lock, but I don't think it will be here long. Post 6 months UPDATE: After posting my review, Eufy reached out to make it right. For that, I give them one star back for the customer service and ability to work with the customer to ensure satisfaction. Secondly, they were able to force push a firmware update to my unit to make it more effective than ever. (+1 for another star recovered) I've been using this update for just over 3-4 months. Now I get recordings of mailman, UPS, and FedEx coming up to my door. (In addition to visitors) I get a few false alarms, which is expected with having the higher motion setting, but I'd rather have it and not need it than not have it at all. Yes the battery life will suffer as a result of the higher sensitivity, but it still seems to last just shy of a couple months, which is adequate for me. One thing I've noticed... People don't like to use the doorbell button. I just don't think people are familiar with its setup/function when compared to rings or other off-door doorbells. ... show more
