Since you are able to select a different melody on each button, I set one melody on one button and a different melody on the other button so I could tell at which door the visitor was. The kit was easy to install and works great. I set the volume on the middle setting, which is plenty loud enough for me. I have a regular, wired doorbell at my front door. The problem is, it's on the wrong side of the door and nobody saw it or used it. At Halloween, the trick-or-treaters were pounding on the door. So I purchased this and put the button where the door bell should have been in the first place. I purchased it for Halloween 2023 and stuck it on using the double sided sticky tape provided, unsure as to how long it would stay. Has a bit of a mechanical echoey sound but how often does someone ring your door bell. My original one was so old and I believe it was hard wired to the old phone system …. This is so easy to install within minutes if you don’t want to worry about wiring!
