SO WORTH IT Easy instructions and easy to use Have done my nails 3 times with only the products the kit came with. They last about 2 weeks and have seen minimal chipping/lifting near the end of the 2 weeks IMPORTANT - TAKE THE GEL OFF PROPERLY Soak cotton ball with acetone and wrap with tin foil. Then use the little metal scrappy tool that’s in the kit to remove gel. I didn’t do that the 2nd time and my nails were sensitive when putting in the light. I did it properly the 3rd time and had 0 sensitivity so please just remove them properly. The polishes are like mini polishes but there are a lot of colors and should be able to get a couple uses out of each. Highly recommend ... show more

I don’t hardly write reviews, but I felt if someone was looking at this kit they maybe a beginner and would love a real review. So I bought kit 32KIT 1G 01-A 107P bc my uv lamp quit working. Figured if I need to replace the lamp why not get some extra goodies too. Lamp is good so far. The drill that came with it. Well it may work in a pinch if needed. It is cheaply made. I put one of the provided bits in it. Tested it out. And you can see by the attached pictures that happen when I removed it. It went back in. But it shouldn’t do that. It comes with a cord. But you will need your own block. It’s not cordless. The on/off and speed control seems cheap and like if it’s used a lot it may break. The rest of the goodies are you basic tools. The oil pen is nice. Oil is thin. And please note the polish bottles are tiny. Kinda like a sample bottle. Have tried them out yet to be able to speak on the quality. But if you’re wanting to do your own nails and don’t want to break the bank. This is a decent kit to start with. But go ahead and definitely add a better quality cordless drill to your cart. ... show more

    • Very small bottles of paint, grinder is not powerful and stalls out while using on nails

I went with this item specifically because of the nail grinder/electric nail tool, but after trying it out the first time, I was pretty disappointed. The grinder stalls out when trying to remove gel polish and it takes quite some effort to get it to actually remove the polish. The bottles of paint are very, very small. I am talking, maybe a couple of paint jobs in each bottle, that's it. Overall, I wish I would have went with a bit more expensive kit. This one does what I need it to do, though it does take more time and effort and I doubt the polishes will last very long. If you just need a quick touch up or looking for something to get you by in between your normal nail appointments, then this will do. If you are looking for something to do your nails on the regular, then invest in a higher quality kit. This won't last you long and may be more hassle than it is worth. ... show more

I put off getting an at-home gel kit for years because I like the pampering aspect of going to the salon. I just could not justify the cost anymore and got this when it had a coupon so it was less than one gel manicure from the salon. It's super simple to use and gives great results. You do need to take your time so the gel doesn't pool in the creases of the nail bed, but it still doesn't take very long and the results last for at least two weeks with very minimal chipping (if you don't pick at them). I like that it came with a base coat and 3 different top coats for different looks. The variety of colors isn't exactly to my tastes, but there is enough there to work with, especially with the different top coats. Yes, the bottles are small, but what do you expect at this price? And honestly, I don't know that I would want them any bigger because I would never use them up before they got gross. The only thing I would have preferred is if it would've come with maybe one or two fewer colors and more bottles of the base coat since that is used EVERY time. That said, I've done 5 manicures now between my daughter and myself and the bottle is not yet empty. (So if people say the bottles are good for one set, they are clearly using too much). I would also recommend having some of that gel remover stuff of a nail drill to get it off because that is what takes the longest. ... show more
