I purchased this for my toes and the Little ones because taking them to the salon with me each time adds up and im very happy with my purchase. I did see some negative reviews but right away I knew many over dried so of course the polish will come off the next day. If you've ever had gel polish then you know that it IS still tacky after drying. You need to use rubbing alcohol when done and the tackiness is gone. You don't keep putting it back under the light. So I disregarded those reviews and im glad I did. This set is perfect. The colors are super pigmented and very shiny. The bottles are small, but it states what size you're getting in the description. For the price, i wouldn't expect full size anyway. It's enough to use more than once unless you're globbing it on, which isn't what should be done. It's a great variety of colors, especially for starting out. I did find the colors a tad off from the swatch on the bottle top. So I would test first if you're needing an exact color. Base coat I did for 90 secs, polish 60 for both coats then 60 for top and done. Wiped with alcohol, cuticle oil and all done. Overall this is a great set and im happy with it and plan to buy more of the Mefa polishes as well as this set for gifts in the future. ... show more

I am very much so a beginner. I am very happy with this purchase. I did a lot of research on good beginner kits for at home. The quality of these polishes are amazing.. I’m so happy with this purchase that I already ordered their nail tips with more glue and the Valentine’s Day color kit.

It does come with a good variety in colors which is nice. The bottles are on the smaller side but not terrible. Some people mentioned it going on thick which I can see if you don't wipe your brush off well enough. I did not have issues with that personally. My biggest issue is with the the light and with how long the paint lasts on my nails. So It takes about 45 minutes to do one hand (from my pics attached, I did a little design but nothing crazy) the light definitely took way longer than 60-90 seconds. For just the base coat I had to put my hand under the light about 5-6 times (90 seconds) and even then sometimes its still tacky. (And thats with a thin coat on) then doing each coat of polish, drying then the design, drying, then the top coat and more drying...ya it was definitely more time consuming than I had thought. I recently switched to gel because I have kids, I thought this would allow me to do my nails quicker and Id not have to worry about messing them up because I always seem to have to touch something after I just painted my nails and they're still damp. Lol. This definitely didnt cut back on the time. But the colors do look nice once you actually get them dry! Butttttttt they only last ONE day! I expected them to last at least a week... But no. I did the pink and blue ones first the next day, not even a full 24 hours later my pointer nail peeled completely off. Then my more recent ones the purple I had for a day before the corner of my thumb chipped off. So that's disappointing for sure...all that time and they havnt even last two full days on my hands. Id say this is ok for a beginner or maybe a teen whos into nails. But other than that id probably spend a little more money next time and invest in better quality...it's alright. ... show more

Color #0611 is not green. It's more of a blue which is disappointing because I really wanted a true hunter green for Christmas. The orange color #0791 is more yellow to me and it will take several coats to get it so it isn't see through. Out if all the colors, I only really like 12. That's my personal preference though. Matte top coat did not cure evenly. One nail looks perfect but the rest still have some shine and I tried curing it over and over again. I guess you get what you pay for. ... show more
