    • Nice solid doorbell
This is a solid piece of metal. It looks nice and fits securely. Also, it functions as it should. I drilled a 3/4" hole to recess the mechanism. That worked out well and was covered up nicely by the doorbell frame.

Great looking item. However, if you are replacing a flush mount unit, you may have to excavate a hole to hold the mechanism. However, it is well worth it.

    • Get Different Mounting Screws
This Doorbell Button is really HIGH quality and would buy again. All Metal, and a very well-made Wire Attachment. But the only issue I came across was the Mounting Screws. Very Thin Flat Blade, and kind of soft using a Screwdriver. Now, on a soft surface the screws may work, but on a hard surface like our Cement Siding, I just couldn't get the screws to go in as needed. Fortunately, I have plenty of screws built up over the years. So, I used Phillips Head type, with a larger shank and it mounted great. That was the only complaint. Rather easy to install and very attractive. Mine was to replace an old broken one. Finding the wires was my only issue. The existing hole in the wood trim was already there and fit. The "instructions" were a total joke.

Good quality doorbell. But none of the pictures or details show that you need to ensure there’s about a half inch wide by half inch deep hole in your wall to allow the back part to be inserted. I drilled this reluctantly, but would be important for buyers to know
