My Cricut Maker 3 machine states that it doesn't recognize tool. Big disappointment!!! Description says it's comparable obviously it is NOT. I purchased to use at a later time and this happened.Plus it is past my return window money wasted!

this worked better than I thought. As many of you said the Cricut maker dose not recognize the tool. but I still found a way around that. just as you would buy an off-brand ink for a printer and the printer might not recognize the ink, there are ways around it. In this case, I just changed the settings and cut it. do a weld and slice rather than the engraving cut and on material type, rather than use acrylic I use outdoor vinyl. it turned out amazing and engraved nicely. ... show more
